Who can forget "One on One" ?  Robby Benson's performance was marvelous. I believe he played the part of Jojo White as I recall.

Western U.'s basketball offices were in the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University. The externals of the gym were of Moby Gym on the same campus.

Bandoumel is working out at our facility right now - one of greatest culture guys I’ve ever been around, great on-ball defender, can make shots, great to see him back – he was talking to some of our guys today - want to see that kid have a great career somewhere

Was pretty cool to hear

If you were facing a team that had two guards who accounted for almost half of the teams’ average scoring (38 of their 79 ppg) and you were Fred Hoiberg, how would you defend them?

I'm going with cut the head off the snake strategy. Try and shut down Grant. Make the rest beat you.

Tough task. Their top 3 guys have made a combined 37 three pointers already. But they also shoot the mid-range, or "far 2s", very efficiently. And they're all near 90% free throw shooters. I think we'll do what we do. Run them off the three point line, have Mast/Allick waiting in the lane to deter, and play the analytics game and hope they don't make damn near every mid-range shot like Michigan State did in Lincoln last year.

The one thing that can't happen in this one is JL getting in early foul trouble. Our solid defense starts with him. His on ball pressure will be important tomorrow night. Need to make their offense uncomfortable.

It's a trap in the sense that:

-The Dukes have a couple of legit dudes that can take over games

-Student section will be empty for Thanksgiving

-Best team we've played thus far, but with a name that doesn't get you excited

Talented opponent plus apathetic crowd is a recipe for a trap.  Obviously Hoiberg and the team aren't overlooking Duquesne, but the casual fans are and that is going to cause some awkward nervous energy in the arena if we fall behind.  And that's the sort of negative energy that can effect the team.

Duquesne is located in Pittsburgh P. A.  This song has prophetic implications for the Huskers!

This is the second episode ever of Dick Clark’s Saturday Night Beechnut Show in February of 1958.

And in the first five seconds of this clip you'll see Dick and guest Johnny Carson on the trap set.

But this is not a trap game 😨

This should be a friskier crowd than the first 4 games. The resale prices on tickets has picked up for sure.
