I honestly didn't even realize Gretna was in Class A, much less that they won it.  Wow. When did they make the jump from B?

Within the last couple years.  Gretna East high school will open pretty soon as well.

So do we know what happened exactly?  Seems kind of harsh for 1 ineligible player.

Just have the PTA go to awards unlimited and get a trophy.  It's not like these guys have a real problems like a $22 MILLION DOLLAR BUYOUT

Seems petty to turn them in. Also seems like Gretna admin dropped the ball on paperwork. Feel bad for the kids. I don't get why people are mad at the NSAA. Their job was to determine if the rules were broke. Their hands are tied if the kid is ineligible by the rulebook, they can't exactly look the other way.

Tough situation for all involved.  From what I could gather, other schools made NSAA aware of this violation earlier in the season.  If true, why wasn't this addressed by both Gretna and the NSAA well before now?

I know similar transfer issues have occurred, and more often than not, they are addressed prior to the season even starting.  This simply smells a bit rancid.

To tie it back to Nebraska basketball, I fully expect if and when we do ever get our first NCAA Tournament win, it will later be vacated on a technicality.
