Honestly, this should have been a decision the NCAA made before ANY game tipped today.  This should have been a league-wide decision.  Not left up to individual conferences.

So since the bluebirds were losing at halftime when the game was cancelled, does this hurt our NET? Do they get half a loss? I'm afraid this could affect our bubble chances.

On a brighter note, I was able to get a big package of toilet paper at Sams today before it was gone. Most of the folks there were putting 3 or 4 into their carts. I might consider swapping for two season tickets on the floor at the Pinnacle for next year.

The peak of stupidity has been reached with thinking cancelling a game at halftime will accomplish anything.

Big 10 announced no athletic competitions both in and out of conference AND no recruiting will take place for the foreseeable future.

I guess that means we didn't miss the tournament this year.  A perfect year for our season to not count against us!!!  It would really be unfortunate to have a team ranked #7 in the country, let's say that team also wore blue, and then to have the tournament just cancelled as if the season didn't happen!

You have to wonder if spring athletes might get a year of eligibility back?  Do winter athletes as well?  Will be interesting decisions in the coming days, weeks, and months for the NCAA.

 

All attention now turns to the virus.  Stop the spread, find a vaccine, get well enough to start over again in August.
