Daum’s story is interesting. Even in his freshman year in college he and his coach thought he would go nowhere. That was the point where Daum dedicated himself and built himself for into the player he is today.

Daum's uncle was a NU football walk-on who started at linebacker for two years.  Murrell's uncle was a scholarship safety recruit who's career didn't last long, due to injuries if I remember correctly.  Just a coincidence that is probably irrelevant to everything.

Congrats to Max.

I wish I could spend 4 years living rent-free in Palo Alto all while getting a free education at one of the worlds best universities!

Congrats to Max. Didnt think he was coming here. Not to take away from his thread, but do we have any other serious offers out to 2020 kids? He was the only one i can think of. Im assuming all the recruiting efforts will be used towards '21 and '22 kids. Whatever opens up in the spring we will probably hit the transfer market with.

How do you define a serious offers?

Ones put out by the current staff that we are still actively recruiting (neither party has necessarily cooled on the other).
