Jock Farmer Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 For what it's worth, Akoy sought out Jack and went for food together at halftime and returned together. Quote
jimmykc Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 I hope they had some shrimp on the barbie ready for the halftime snack. Quote
Haymarket Husker Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 I saw them standing in the concourse during half time and my buddy and I both thought Akoy was a little smaller than both if the other two. Quote

Swan88 Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 Akoy Agau is visiting Georgetown today and tomorrow--will be attending tomorrow's Creighton game there. Quote
FredsSlacks Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Sounds good losing out on agau twice would be tough. especially when we really need bigs. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 ...and the team is stuck in Iowa City tonight. Wonder when the team and coaches make it back tomorrow? Quote
AuroranHusker Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 ...and the team is stuck in Iowa City tonight. Wonder when the team and coaches make it back tomorrow? I would imagine they'll roll into Lincoln by early afternoon... in time to host Akoy Agau, if he's still on the docket, that is. #GoGetItOrNotWhateverYouDecide Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Like his red coat, now it could be an Old Louisville one... Quote
Norm Peterson Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 He is standing behind the others. It's an optical illusion. I took the picture and am much shorter than all of them--a bad angle. Swan88 Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Perhaps you need stronger glasses? Sometimes it's helpful to wipe fingerprints from the touchscreen. And sometimes it helps to hold the screen at arm's length. ... ... ... Dummies?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Silverbacked1 and Norm Peterson 2 Quote
HuskerActuary Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Did Agau just commit? Harriman just tweeted " Boom! #GBR" edit: Never mind, I see it's McVeigh Quote
Norm Peterson Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Assuming we only have one more spot after McVeigh, I hope the last one isn't Agau. If we had two more spots, I'd say OK. But we're really in need of a center. A guy who can hold down the middle in league games, grab rebounds all over the place and maybe even score from time to time. I don't see Agau as being that big. More PF in size. And not a stout PF at that. But, whatever the coaches think is best ... Quote

I think they are just trying to get guys who can rebound the ball and defend down low. Not sure if it will translate well to the B1G, but I would rather have Akoy than have another wing or guard. Nebrasketballer Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 In my opinion, Nebraska still needs to take Agau and push someone else out the door. Nebraska can't afford to miss out on an Top-100 instate player that plays the position that is literally Nebraska's biggest weakness...(again) Plus, Agau has been practicing vs the studs at Louisville for the last few years, and he has been in their strength and conditioning program, so he will be more ready made than any other post player that Nebraska will have a realistic shot of landing. In my opinion, it would be a very poor choice to pass up a second chance opportunity to sign Agau... Norm Peterson 1 Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I would think that the choice to come here is in Agau court now. We can't do much more than have him here and let him decide what he wants to do. Quote
ajb5856 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Report Posted January 7, 2015 I think the Agau ship has sailed (once again). And I think that's okay. We need a true big man as many have said. That is not Agau. I've heard many claiming Agau as savior to all our problems. A big time stud big man, and that he was so highly rated coming out of high school that we absolutely cannot afford to miss out again. I don't view Agau as a 'big man'. I don't view Agau as any type of stud or elite talent. Miles seems to be stockpiling 6-7 and 6-8 ball players that play a variety of positions, and Agau would have been another of those to add to the collection. He has potential wherever he goes. He is not a big man. Norm Peterson 1 Quote
GATA Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 How many times does he need to visit before he knows if Nebraska is for him this time around? Pure guess, but it sure seems like he's going to commit tomorrow. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Okay never done this before And I feel like I cheated on my wife, but I googled some other sites to see what they said about Agau. Heard he isn't coming because of some of the players and his trips here when he was a senior. Maybe something happen or was said? Also somebody else said write it down it is a done deal and he is here and the room will be made for him. Okay I need I need to go take a shower, I feel so dirty. Oh and will you guys forgive me? I won't ever do it again! Quote
