BjoeHusker Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Good effort. Thought Palmer forced a lot of bad shots. Loved Amir's energy. Still hate Matt Haarms (only a sophomore ). Quote
hhcscott Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Everything we did well in the first half, take good shots, make shots, rebound, we regressed in the second Quote
hskr4life Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Love this team! Much better effort. Can still go on a run in Indy, so let’s steal a few before the season is over. BjoeHusker 1 Quote
hskr4life Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Combine with other threads. Dumb thread to start. hhcmatt, Bugeaters1 and ladyhusker 1 1 1 Quote
jason2486 Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Doc's 6'5" and under crew were better rebounders. 16 offensive rebounds in the 2nd half, are you freaking kidding me. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
tcp Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 situational awareness is not exactly a generational strength these days. but still, we seem to be worse at it than most others. I can't honestly say how much is on coaching, or how much on the natural limitations of the players we have. We know they have brutal focus issues, and that's probably a central feature of bad judgment anywhere. I don't know how much of that can be taught. Quote

LNKtrnsplnt Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Very few second chance points tho. Free throws the difference, they were lights out Quote

tcp Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 seriously, the weather is garbage here. it's going to be a long couple of days. Red Don 1 Quote

brfrad Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Except Purdue shoots 37 % from 3. The 1st one was bad. No way should anyone be in the lane with 1 second on an inbound play. The 2nd one was unlucky. No one should expect a blocked 3 point shot landing 5 feet in front of the basket. Quote
throwback Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 What an incredible thread idea. I don't think anyone has discussed the coaching this season in any other thread. I wonder if this thread will determine whether Coach Miles keeps his job? Dead Dog Alley and thrasher31 2 Quote
huskerbaseball13 Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Could have stole one with Edwards having a bad day. But, like we have seen far too many times...we rely on hero ball down the stretch and force up bad shots. Looking more and more likely Miles finishes under .500 again. Quote

If he fouls out, so what... Roby is an enigma. Red Don 1 Quote

Red Don Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 If anything I think it's Purdue that 'Stole One' here. AuroranHusker 1 Quote

Art Vandalay Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 I love Roby and he seems to be a great kid but coaching him might make my head explode. The lack of urgency and killer instinct kills me inside. jason2486 1 Quote
