Ohio State (12-6) vs. Nebraska (13-6) Game Thread

This isn’t a fun team to watch right now. Zero urgency. Zero organization on offense over the final 10 minutes. 

 

This isn't a team that looks like it wants to play in the tournament, which is so disappointing.

the rebound numbers tell a lot. rebounding is more than just height. it's hustle and positioning, and we aren't doing either of those. 

 

but we are getting utterly destroyed on the boards, and that's with Wesson sitting for half the half.

Dominated on the boards, even with Wesson on the bench most of the half.  Lots of minutes for the bench.  Hopefully its all part of the plan.  Definitely need a better 2nd half to win this one.

This is the type of team that needs their asses chewed at half. I think Miles is afraid to do it. Maybe an assistant needs to step up? 

I don’t care what the new psychology or new wave of coaching says - sometimes kids need to get chewed out like crazy.

I didn't notice the bad body language, or hustle.  I thought our defense did decent this half.  Showed much more energy since I've seen in awhile.

Just another half where this is no flow to the offense. Crowd is dead. Team not giving them much to cheer for. 

 

Hopefully we got the dreaded Miles offensive drought out of our system. Not sure we can have another and win this game. Have to come out hot in the second half.

For a s for as poorly as we played, we are there because OSU played poor too.  That’s not good.  We need to punch them and then keep the foot down.

I think the crowd for Cal State Fullerton was better than today's crowd.

Neither team looks like a tournament team.  We cannot beat them one on one so we will have to hope our jack up 3’s start falling.

The one that got me was when TA had the huge block and it was three OSU guys to clean it up.  That’s just hustle or lack of.

It's because everyone wants to play behind the arc. rebounding is about want to, seems we don't have the want to.

That one when Allen blocked the shot, and no one got back was inexcusable.

 

I'm sure we were up 5 at half in New Jersey, and Lincoln can be much more intimidating.

I don’t think we’ve settled for threes too much.  Sadly, we were shooting better from three than two at one point.

To be fair, imo it's a downright crime to have games before noon. C'mon. I dont blame any fans here today. We all know how much the team needs our support though, ofc. Ought to be better on a Saturday.

To be fair, you have to realize that husker droughts have a history; this goes much further back than miles....

 

Def a problem tho. A good coach I would think could spark something resembling an offense

Since Bahe's going more and more national his homerism has greatly decreased. Even when he does CU games. He's a good analyst.
