It's not much of a superstition when you look at our past decade of basketball. Our best seasons have been when we were voted at the bottom of the conference. A couple of our highest rated preseasons turned out to be our worst.

Of course our best seasons are going to be when we're voted at the bottom of the conference. We're almost always voted there. Given that, the odds of our better finishes coming when we aren't voted at the bottom of the conference are pretty slim, as we're rarely ever put there.

Right.  In other words, don't be afraid of lofty expectations simply because we are accustomed to being overlooked most years.  Let's instead imbrace them.  It's far easier to win a race when you're starting in pole position.

Nicole Cousins?  I thought I heard Edwards was dating someone out there, speculation that the break up of the relationship was related to him leaving.  Coulda been local medias biggest power couple since Ken Siemeck and Deb Collins.  Or Ken Hambleton and Ryley Jane.  Or Colby Mach and an EIB fleshlight.
