WHAT ARE EXHIBIT 9 AND EXHIBIT 10 CONTRACTS?

Exhibit 9 and Exhibit 10 contracts are commonly referred to as “summer contracts” or “training camp contracts”. These players are being brought in to provide competition in training camp, to give coaches some extra bodies for drills and scrimmages, and sometimes to prove they are worthy of a regular season roster spot.

Both Exhibit 9 and Exhibit 10 contracts are one-year, fully non-guaranteed contracts. (A team could technically sign a player who was from another team, or from outside of the NBA, to a four-year, maximum contract on a summer contract (not an Exhibit 9 or Exhibit 10 deal), but that’s never happened and will likely never happen for many reasons.) In addition, they do not count against the salary cap or the luxury tax. They are very much “make good” deals in every sense of the word.

If a player proves worthy of sticking around, teams have a few options. We’ll cover the uniqueness of an Exhibit 10 contract in a moment, because it has some different parameters around it.

. . .

WHAT IS SPECIFIC ABOUT AN EXHIBIT 10 CONTRACT?

An Exhibit 10 contract is unique in that it has ties to the G League. Everything works the same as laid out above, with a few key differences.

Do the Knicks know how good he is?

It was the right move for Roby to go pro when he did, but it would have been interesting to see how the season would have played out if he had stayed for his senior year.

He would have spent most of it regretting he hadn't left a dumpster fire

Glynn Watson Jr. delivered one of the most dominant performances by a BBL player so far this season. The playmaker converted five of his seven three-pointers and at times raised the temperature in the Telekom Dome noticeably.

Sure would be nice if they could raise the temperature at PBA a few times this year.

It briefly was during the NU-CU game, but that didn't last very long. Hopefully a lot of B1G games will "raise the roof"!

Eric Piatkowski atop this list, 738 made threes, in an era when three-point shot making was not a thing. Tells you how talented the Polish Rifle was.

That's the quote from LA Clippers play-by-play announcer, Brian Sieman, during the Clips game against the Memphis Grizzlies the other night. Thought that was worth sharing on the "Huskers in the Pros" since Pike was a dude for NU! GBR

WELCOME TO EMMANUEL BANDOUMEL!
Today we can welcome a new rabbit in the form of Emmanuel Bandoumel, who will come to Svendborg on a permanent deal until the summer of 2025.
The 25,-year-old Emmanuel is from Canada and recently played college basketball at the highest level in the U.S. with the recognized college program, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, starting 19 of 20 games last season.
He also played three years for Southern Methodist University, where former basketball coach Nemanja Jovanovic was part of the staff.
In both places he has been a very well liked teammate both on and off the pitch.
The 193cm tall Canadian can play both guard positions, just like he has some physique and length, which allows us to play with three guards on the field at the same time when needed.
"With the injury to Anton, we have assessed that our guard rotation going into the crucial part of the season is a little too narrow." That's why we have examined the market for both Danish and foreign players, who will be able to help raise our level and here we found a really good opportunity with Emmanuel, who we also knew from the summer's recruitment phase," says Head Coach Mads Andersen and continues.
"It has been a demand from the club that it should be a longer-term contract if we were to reinforce the team. There has to be perspective in it when you pick up a player halfway through the season, so we are really happy that we have landed an agreement with Emmanuel both in the short and a little longer term"
"At the same time, we will also look at moving a few of our young talents closer to the squad in the future, so that the integration takes place on a continuous basis. More players are looking to join the Rabbits in the future and maybe we'll already see some of them this season"
We are really looking forward to seeing Emmanuel in action with the rest of the squad in the Rise Sparekasse Arena!
Welcome to Svendborg Emmanuel : )
