    It was a very enjoyable evening last night at the Press Club honoring Kent. The speakers were good, and coach Miles has a career in stand up comedy when he hangs up the whistle. In fact Dan (Larry the Cable Guy) jokingly said he wasn't sure how he was going to follow the "Timmy Show". It was a great night had by everyone in the sellout crowd.

    I live just a few blocks away from Sprint Center; if we make the KC Regional Finals I may end up needing a liver transplant... (judges, can I get a ruling on my semicolon usage?)

    Last I checked, we were tied for 2nd in the Big Ten West. Unless people expected us to win nearly all of our games, the loss to Colorado was nothing more than an unfortunate loss to a despised old Big 12 foe. Still lots of season to play and lots of things to get excited about.
