I don't think expanding is something that will happen soon, also I don't think it's NU's decision to do so. Ticket prices will be adjusted before expansion happens. If prices go up and demand remains then maybe it will happen.

If in their opinion the staff feels they are both worthy of offers they I say go for it! I guess to a certain extent it would be how close the staff feels they are talent, potential ceiling and how they fit from a team chemistry standpoint. The chemistry part is one that has really impressed me with how well Miles and his staff have been holding to their core beliefs.

I noticed sometimes those 100% predictions are because only one guy has offered a guess and he made his guess a year ago. But, because it's the only guess, it makes it 100% for that team, whatever it is. If he's coming here for a visit, it ain't no 100% Purdue. It's now 75% Purdue and 25% Nebraska. Jerry Meyer (247Sports Director of Basketball Scouting) has now flipped his prediction to Nebraska. I wouldn't be too concerned about Purdue at 75% right, considering we just offered him today, Also, it certainly doesn't hurt to have Watson recruiting him too:

I would think that if Nebraska gets both Watson and Morrow that would not hurt their chances to at least get a visit from Benson.

I think Leslee only comes back if they cannot find another guy they like better for the spot by next spring/summer.

What is that, by chance??? I think they go through a process where if you did not renew...they don't act like "Well, you snooze, you lose!"...but rather they send an email etc telling you goodbye unless you... I think I got one of those once when they crossed in the mail. Don't let it happen with Basketball or you will never get back in to what is now becoming the toughest ticket in the state! Thank you Tim Miles...and TO for the forsight to make it so! Speaking of the toughest ticket thing, I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been any talk yet about finishing out the upper bowls in the PBA yet. If demand for season tickets remains high, it seems like it's only a matter of time. Hold your horses. PBA was only truly sold out for a couple of games last year. We need to show that it can be full for more games beyond a Wisconsin-caliber opponent to even think about expanding.

IF: 1. The 2015 ends with Morrow, YES. Nebraska needs the bigs. Morrow is a great player, but the team needs at least two true bigs. 2. Baptiste or another true big signs, NO. It is clear that Miles likes to take a combo/point guard each year, but the team needs floor spacing shooters also. A true big, combo guard, and a shooter would make sense. Btw when I say "true big", I mean a thick, 6'9" or bigger guy who can defend and rebound against traditional post players (Leslie Smith or Moses Abraham). Scoring is a secondary need. This reference does not include stretch guys like Pitchford and Fuller. I consider those guys shooters who can play multiple positions (another aspect of Miles' teams).

OK, the first video is last summer (after 9th grade year, going into 10th) and second video is this summer, going into his junior year. You see lots of improvement athletically from one summer to the next, fortunately. His game reminds me a lot of Henry Ellenson. He doesn't blow you away athletically but he has great, soft hands and a really nice shooting touch with decent range. Good footwork, skilled, and a big body. I like this kid.

After watching his highlights I can understand why Purdue wants him outside of his parents connection. He is AJ Hammons 2.0 only more athletic and fluid when comparing at the same age.

At one point in time last year Watson was 100% to Marquette. Things can change fast in the world of recruiting. Getting him on campus is a big step.

Those "sources" close to Arop should've kept their mouths shut. Lee is a reporter. He simply did his job. No reason for Callahan or Washut to have their panties in a twist. Sources say stuff all the time but those don't always turn into full newspaper articles. Lee could have just reported an update that he was near a decision. I thought that was exactly what Lee did. Lee didn't say he committed. He said sources said Arop was expected to commit (but hadn't done it yet.) Sean Callahan needs to just stay quiet about this. His comments make it sound like sour grapes, especially when Rivals' business model relies on reporting these kinds of scoops ahead of the print media. Lee jumping the gun doesn't steal Arop's thunder; it deprives Rivals of a headline tease: "Is Nebraska Close to Getting a New Hoops Commit?"
