Defend the paint, guard the three point line and limit the turnovers and we should be setting good. Play like we have the last two games and the Huskers might be able to hang their first B1G banner on the wall! Make our shots and rebound, rebound, rebound!

Having to guard the 3 point line as well as the paint, unlike last night where we packed the paint and didn't need to guard the 3, will be a challenge.  Hopefully playing 4 games will take a toll on Iowa.  I expect a very tough game.

Good zone by Iowa, but they got lucky in that Laudermill just can't throw it in the ocean today.  Love Tee, but it's one of those days...

Need Cady to not get her 5th

YES!!  Bring that trophy back to Lincoln!

Feels so good when you don't play your best but still you're good enough to win by doing the little things that make the difference like REBOUNDING and making your free throws!

Rachel Theriot owned this tournament. What a fantastic weapon to have on our team!

Oh yeah I'd be remiss if I didn't mention we're 8-0 against Iowa since we joined the B1G!!

Who would've expected Rachel to be the tournament MVP and carry the offensive load for the team on the way to a championship at this time last year? She's made incredible progress.

So happy that Jordan Hooper finally got a championship. Much deserved!

only got to see approx 3/4 of second half. good teams find a way to grind out a win when there is a lid on the basket. congrats to coach yori and her staff--- and to each and every team member. i was a bit concerned earlier in the season. at times wondered if this just might not be their year, but, wow---what a job of pulling it together!!! what an enjoyable season!

Bringing the players and trophy on the floor at halftime would be sweet.  Film it for recruits.  Hope they can make it work.

according to Sports Nightly, they will be honored sometime in the 1st half.

I was certainly wrong back in January about this team.  I shouldn't have doubted the heart and character of the young ladies on the squad.  I shouldn't have doubted Coach Yori's ability to keep the team moving forward.  Congratulations Huskers!  May we draw well next Monday at seeding time.

Hope the layoff doesn't kill them in the NCAA's... Also hope we get a good draw.  A Regional final in Lincoln would be about as crazy as the Wisconsin game...

Charley Creme of ESPN's Bracketology has us as a 3 seed now in the Seattle regional going up against Idaho as the 14th seed. Gonzaga is the 6th seed and USC is the 11th seed also in Seattle.
