This is 2 out of the last 3 years that Iowa has tanked going down the stretch.  Nebraska got hot right when Iowa went cold 2 years ago.  They went from NCAA tournament lock to playing in the 1st four that year.  They started 19-6 and 8-4 in the Big 10, finished by losing 5 of their last 6 regular season games, and loss to Northwestern in the Big 10 tournament.   Last year, they loss their first game in the Big 10 tournament to Penn State.
