Miles...or whoever game planned the game.  From a player perspective, it was a total team effort.

They always say win the home games and steal a few on the road and you'll be right there come March.  We are 6 games in and have a few clunkers at home.  We have made that up now with a couple roadies.  Keep it going at home and steal a few more roadies and ya never know.

I disagree a bit. We picked a couple road wins against .500 or worse teams. We lost 2 at home we could have won. If we wanted to finished above .500 in league we should be 5-1. Our remaining schedule is brutal.

So how did Illinois blow out Purdue if the Illini play post defense like this? If I recall Purdue has two more than serviceable seven footers.

 

AJ Hammonds has a habit of taking days off.  Usually, as AJ goes, so goes Purdue.

 

Oh, and Illinois was draining 3's at an insane rate, as I mentioned earlier.

Not really. Four of the next five are brutal, but after that, there's a bunch of games where we're right in the mix.

I'm confused!!  How are we winning this game, Lee Barfnecht?  I didn't think we had any Big 10 talent?  Maybe against Samford, we just weren't playing well at that time.  This team is showing how good it can be.  Need to see how we play against a competent front court.
