Also, we currently have 2 kids here and Harriman (possibly with Hunter who doesn't tweet much) heading to Hunter's neck of the woods. Not sure whether to take this as a good or bad sign.

They will always keep recruiting.  So I wouldn't take it as a good/bad sign.

Hmmm.  So, you're thinking if he's taking off with Kenya, that leaves only Molinari and Miles to man the fort.  And, with two recruits in town, does that give them enough hands on deck (mixing military metaphors) to cover all their bases (and now a sports metaphor) with the recruits that are here?

Good question.  Maybe Chris and Kenya were flying out early on the dedicated recruiting jet with plans on flying back by early this evening in time for dinner with the recruits.  I have to imagine this trip was planned and not just spur of the moment -- hey, things aren't going well with the recruits in town so let's head off to Virginia and see if we can scare up any talent back there -- kind of thing.

I was down there first thing.  They kicked me out.  Can you believe it?  #thenerve #don'ttheyknow?

Everytime Imaee the title of this thread I keep thinking that it is going to be bad news, like he has taken another job. But it is good for my heart because that sudden rush is about all the exercise it will get today.:)

There was a tweet about a trio of recruits in the Virginia area getting letter of intent releases because of coaching changes.  Alex Kline of recruit scoop.  Have no idea if this is what we are after but thought I would mention.

That would be VMI and Shaka. That would be worth a trip to Virginia.

Maybe it's this kid ...

This kid is from VA and is one of the kids granted a release b/c of the VCU coaching change.

If this is the kid they're going to see, it would be a hell of a coup to land him at this point.  Rivals top 100 shooting guard, 4-star prospect, at a time where that would be a serious area of need for us and we have the space ...

Yes, possibly him or a 2016 kid. It was thought that he was choosing between UNC and VCU, I wonder if UNC is still on the table. Jordan Murphy is the other decommit from VCU, nice looking SF who resides in TX.

I'm just, y'know, thinking about probable starting lineups for us next year, and I think we better be cautiously optimistic about our prospects because we'll be a pretty young team still.

PG  Glynn Watson, Fr. (Rivals 4-star)

SG  Kenny Williams, Fr. (Rivals 4-star)

SF  Andrew White III, Jr. (Rivals 4-star)

PF  Shavon Shields, Sr. (Rivals 3-star and Academic All-American) OR Ed Morrow, Fr. (Rivals 4-star)

C  Mike Edwards, Fr. (Rivals 3-star, soon to be 4-star) OR probably Diamond Stone (Rivals 5-star) if he decommits from Maryland.

I'd just, y'know, urge people to take it easy on the expectations.  That's a lot of stars, but it's a lot of youth as well.

Are you sure you're on the right message board?

I like how Normy just slipped Diamond Stone in there with Kenny Williams. :D

Yes, I agree Norm.  While the Final Four isn't out of the question, the Sweet 16 may be the best we can hope for with such a young team.  ;)

Kentucky does okay with a young team every year.;)

Yeah, I guess.  I mean, they could be worse, right?
