According to the Barfknecht article on Terran's future, he indicates the incoming Freshmen will be eligible for the trip if they complete 3 credit hours during the summer.  It's likely they will all enroll and get their three hours, but remember Tai did not attend summer classes as a freshman, so it's not a total given that we will see them all.

I will enroll and even pay for my 3 hours...if they take me with them.

 

So if they can enroll for free under their scholarships...it is pretty hard to imagine declining to do so...or having Miles let them not participate...especially if they want to play this season!

Jack McVeigh is playing in the U-19 championships in June though no idea of the actual dates.

Seems like it will be a long shot for him to do that and get in the hour required to make this trip.

Sounds like fun.  Hopefully the players will use good judgement and not enter a bull run.  Hard to play quality basketball when you've been gored in the rear.

'Bought time they did one of these things. You can do them every 4 years.  With all the newcomers, we could use the extra opportunity to mesh.  Little point to doing it if we don't have some newcomers to blend in.  So, in addition to Andrew White, it'll be more than nice to take Ed Morrow, Glynn Watson, the Jacobsen kid and McVeigh along for the ride.

Think I read the can play up to 10 games, I would guess it would be fewer though due to time and travel. Pure speculation on my part though...

Haven't we taken another Euro trip at some time in the distant past (France?)? I believe Australia was our last venture outside the US of A boundaries. And why does the volleyball team seem to get to go to China every year? Just wondering.

There is a rule with basketball that limits you to a trip every 4 years. Volleyball must not have such a limit.
