bleujay Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Roby reminds me a lot of Ronnie Harrell. Thin lanky perimeter player with ball skills at 6'8. Someone correct me if I am wrong Quote
Norm Peterson Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Roby reminds me a lot of Ronnie Harrell. Thin lanky perimeter player with ball skills at 6'8. Someone correct me if I am wrong I honestly haven't seen any film of Harrell. But, in terms of size and frame, that's pretty much spot on. Quote

49r Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 Glowing write up: Isaiah Roby is an all-stater, ranked among the top 100 players in the country and is headed to the Big Ten next year, yet only the crazed basketball diehards that travel to AAU tournaments in the spring and summer have seen him play –– or maybe have even heard of him. And that’s too bad, because it’s an insult to be branded with “the best player no one has seen” label. But he’s a terrific talent whose game is easy on the eyes. His passing ability is Shaun Livingston-esque, his versatility at his size is fascinating and his upside is enormous. http://suntimeshighschoolsports.com/2015/10/09/henricksen-best-player-one-gets-see/ Quote

In a good way. Compared to Horne, definitely. But Jeriah looks to have filled out well for his age. Roby will probably fill out a bit once he's been in the strength, conditioning & nutrition programs at NU. Both are prized finds for Nebrasketball to go with Glynn Watson, Ed Morrow, Michael Jacobson & Jack McVeigh. Future looks very, very bright. Quote

Unless Roby knows jiu jitsu, I think Horne could take him straight up. Not that they would throw it down or anything. (But if they did, I've got $10 on Horne if anyone's taking bets.) Quote
