b section Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 Eerily familiar to some of the treatment of coach Sadler and some of our better players. Does the name Christian Standhardinger ring any bells? Clearly Rivers does not give us a better chance to beat Kent State then Almeida does, anyone who thinks otherwise can just replay the game last night. Miles clearly has other motives in this case, we saw this with Sadler and it unfortunately doesn't lead to much winning. Gonna be a long year, only way we undo what happened last night is to take this state back with a win over Creighton. Let's turn this around and give us fans something to chear for. Let's do some meaningful winning for once in a while. Silverbacked1, BLB115, Tallbaby21 and 21 others 24 Quote

Busch Light Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Can I have the jewel in your belly button, troll? Not only did you manage to rip a first year coach in a complete rebuild job, you managed to mention Creighton as well. Quote

tcp Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 hey, I'm still waiting for the explanation of the ulterior motives. especially since both Doc and Timmeh apparently share those hidden motives. this is better than agenda 21! Quote
FredsSlacks Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 NU lost because Mike Peltz and Menke are in the top 8 rotation. Quote
Rome4Lyfe Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Was anybody, at the game last night? I was, and what I witnessed was a lazy, uninterested Almeida. He should have been able to have his way with that undersized Kent State team. Instead, he decided not to move, try to get open or play help defence. I would have benched his a** as well. I like Almeida, and think he can help this team. But last nights performance was unacceptable. boomer1 1 Quote
FredsSlacks Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Andre has been given the gift of being 6'11 and having decent basketball skill. All he had to do was get in good shape, and he could of greatly contributed and probably played professional ball in some capacity. It would be interesting to know what his diet is every day. I wonder if he truly has tried to eat healthy and get in shape. Andre has great dedication to Nebraska, but I have to wonder how much he actually cares about basketball. It is very rare for a player to be consistently effective that is over 300lbs. Quote

49r Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 That has to be a record for negative reputation (-9 as of right now) for a single post on the new board so far. I suspect that record may get broken soon. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 You spoke too soon, 49r. It's now down to -12. (And it may have changed while I've been typing this ...) Quote
jimmykc Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 Since Andre is the third heaviest player in the NCAA's this year, perhaps those of you with the time and energy could find out who # 1 and #2 are and how they are doing this year. Quote

Cheap Seat Perspective Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 W Since Andre is the third heaviest player in the NCAA's this year, perhaps those of you with the time and energy could find out who # 1 and #2 are and how they are doing this year. The first person I thought of was UCLA Big man Joshua Smith who is 305 lb on their roster. He's averaging 5 ppg and 4 rpg. Quote
