A walk down memory lane... a fun season back in 2014. Hard to believe the Vault is already 10 years old. Sorry to see you go, Jean.

Her nickname should have been Karen.

Read the entire thread during my lunch break. What a trip down memory lane.

couple of interesting things - some of the prominent posters in 2014 don’t post anymore

Someone quote tweeted Brian Rosenthal 🤮 (people had no idea at the time)

I remember when a certain AD buckled and instructed the spirit squad to no longer lead the chant. So, Jean’s letter did have an impact.

The tradition is now back but I believe it’s not kind of just lackluster- probably because the arena isn’t as full during tipoffs and especially the 6pm start games….

Just went back as well.  I miss some of those posters. I wonder if they are still around???

Also sort of wonder what post-letter conversations around the old dinner table took place at their house???

It seems to happen a lot. I had a friend whose wife died in July of 22, he passed away in December of 23. He was a lonely man. We would take road trips around the state, and into Kansas, just to hang out. I sure miss him and the road trips.
