He is a better all around player than Sandfort. But if Pryce were to transfer to Omaha next year, his numbers would be similar to Sutton's.  Pryce is a different player than his brother Payton, but production-wise he's on the exact same career trajectory, while being more efficient than Payton.

I don't disagree with anything you said but man, if we need to overspend, hopefully we do it at the beginning of the portal cycle this year as we see what happens if you wait!!!!!

I’d also say you overspend on a guy who checks more then one box off our needs list.

He would be a welcome addition on our roster, but certainly not someone we should expect to replicate his season stats of 18.9 and 7.9. If we got half of that from him, it would be similar to what Andrew Morgan gave us, but he would be a much better defender/athlete than Morgan.

Here's a couple of reference points:

 

Morgan averaged 12 and 5 in the Summit as a junior.

Josiah averaged 15 and 8.5 in the Summit as a sophomore.

Sounds like the Niko Medved “Buyers Remorse” has already set in. Has the personality of a Wet Mop & basically got the Job because of the One of Us Factor. Fleck of course had to make a BIG Production of Welcoming him Aboard & Hogging the Camera for awhile.

Must be a Senior with another year left.  Maybe the NCAA excluded the Nebraska game and figured he did not make enough shots in the other games to justify it as a full season and gave him a year back.
