The Huskers haven't lost to a mid major team in two years which is refreshing.

That is the sign of a good team and overall program.

The Jags had no chance on offense.

It was good to see the intensity on both sides of the ball.

We seemingly got any shot we wanted.

Brice and Juwan didn't have good games, and we still put up 77.

If Worster can continue to average around 9 ppg, 4 boards, and 5 assist, this team will be dangerous.

Connor had a lot of points but was not that efficient as he shot a lot tonight.

Actually-- he was pretty efficient for the shots he took. He took 1 ill advised long range two which he missed. However, he did finish 6-12 from three (50%) which is pretty dang good from deep range.

I think it felt like he shot a lot, because he did-- but he was definitely a hot hand last night and there were very few forced threes.

I don't have much to add - as I said in the game thread, Southern is a bad basketball team.

My biggest takeaway is I fully expected a let down by NU. I didn't think we would lose, but I did think it would be a lot closer simply due to the travel & lay off between games. A lot to clean up but for the most part, effort & intensity was there.

Isn't St. Mary's a mid major?

Yea good point.

Although I usually don't think of teams like Gonzaga, St. Marys, Memphis, and San Diego State as mid majors since they make the NCAA tourney on a regular basis and they don't have to rely on winning there conference tourney.

"Buy Game" might be a more apt statement.  We haven't lost one of those since the Matt A era.

50% from three is pretty efficient no matter how many you take.

Yes I can't argue with that :).   Had not seen the box score before I posted and surprised by it because it felt to me that he missed more than he made last night - but numbers don't lie.   Maybe I am just expecting them all to go in so I take more notice when they do not :).

Another note about the game, my wife said she Berke’s whole ass at some point in the second half while he has tucking his shirt in. That guy always has a smile on his face and seems to be the “class clown” of the team if you will. Also dabs up the entire support staff whenever he comes off the court, after immediately getting coaching from Nate. He’s becoming my favorite personality on the team pretty quickly.

Berke gives off Joker vibes. And I mean that in a good way. He may be a bit more athletic than the Joker, I think Joker has a couple of inches on him height wise.
