Ten years ago today, graduation commencements were taking place. Then concerts. And eventually Husker Hoops. Given the occasion, does anybody have any memories at PBA that really stand out for them? That time I went to the Ohio State game in 2014 and got a last minute ticket to sit in the visitor's section right behind the OSU bench and was mercilessly and drunkenly giving Aaron Craft all kinds of shit stands out. It's very possible that his family was there and heard every word, LOL. That win started the streak that eventually got us into the NCAA tournament. Lol— really though, it was her first Husker sporting event period. My wife(then girlfriend)and I planned a whole trip around coming back to Nebraska to see two games. A Wednesday/Saturday sequence. It was the first time she had been to Nebraska in Winter. The 2nd time total. It was January. She was born and raised in Southern Cal. Was prepping her about the brutal winters. Was mildly excited to see her reaction to a frigid Nebraska winter day. It was in the 60's the whole time we were there. An unexpected warm front. basketballjones Posted August 16, 2023 Report Share Posted August 16, 2023 Man it's hard to remember just one as far as Husker Hoops go - I just generally remember how great of a job Tim Miles did in turning that place into a nightmare for opposing teams, very quickly. Also always remember the pre-game introduction video Copeland's final year that was sick "Welcome to the Party." For me personally, I've gotten to coach there and been to some great concerts. Regardless, it will be a conservative new design. Expect the center court to be blessed with a block N instead of the State.
