OT - All the talk of Olympic sports got me thinking

and instead of hi-jacking a thread figured I would do it this way.  The 10 things listed below have been Olympic sports

 

1. Rope climbing

2. Race walking

3. Tug of war

4. swimming obstacle course

5. Tandem Bicycle Sprint

6. Underwater Swimming

7. Hot air Ballooning

8. Equestrian Dressage

9 Solo synchronized Swimming

10. Town Planning

I’m assuming #8 is equestrian dressage, which is not like putting dresses on a horse but has more to do with demonstrating an exquisite level of training and skill in various tasks that the horse possesses.

it might be a tad more entertaining watching people try to put dresses on horses.

The roster was made up of former collegiate stars in Joey King (Minnesota), Dominique Jones (Fort Hays State), Kareem Maddox (Princeton) and Robbie Hummel (Purdue).

There is a 3x3 circuit and these guys play on it.  At one point the US team was ranked #1 in the world and they won the 2019 FIBA cup.  King was the one name I didn't recognize as a 3x3 guy.  He replaced Canyon Barry (aka Rick Barry's kid) who was out with a back injury.
