NM St beat Colorado St in overtime in game one.   Loyola up by 6 at halftime of game two.

Got that off ESPN.   Logged in here hoping someone had a good approach to getting this game on TV - or knew of some bar in town that was airing the tournament games - but looks like I may just do the radio thing too.   Will bring back memories to listening to Kent on road games back in the years before pretty much every game gets televised.

Update... Stream is back up and working.

Quality is.... something that could be improved.  Feed hasn't been the clearest for the entire time I have been watching.

Announcers are... about what you would expect.

Score/Time Ticker is.... Non existent.  Therefore the announcers are saying the score like every 10 seconds.

As I type this, the score ticker came back on the bottom.

Worth 30 bucks?  Ask me on Wednesday night.

I've decided to save $30 this week. Just don't trust a sports streaming service I've never heard of.

Still puzzles me why huskers.com and the team officially are sponsoring this service. Usually the huskers tech / streaming lags behind, which is expected. What I would hope is they can figure it out and get us a reliable and more polished streaming service (especially if they're making us pay upwards of 30)

TBH, the stream worked great for me all night last night.  No problems with quality, glitches, or not being reliable.  I know they had those problems early in the day, but those were fixed and it never went down again.

The announcers on the other hand.... now there is a need for investment.

Flo is becoming a big streamer of sports now. Only just a few years ago you only heard about them doing college softball games at so.e of the preseason tournaments. Now they've expanded into basketball and volleyball (they have a deal with B1G volleyball)

Same, my stream was fine.

Wow.  CSU just went on a 10-0 run to end the game and win by 1 over Loyola.  Loyola went scoreless for the last 4 minutes of the 2nd half.

I got to watch the few minutes. that was Nebraska like melt down.

My favorite quote so far that shows they didn't do much if any research...

"Historically awful, low fan support, no in-state recruiting, and you aren't even the best program in your own borders."

Nice of them to give the Mavs some love, but we beat Wazzu by 11, Omaha only beat them by 8, so by the infallible law of comparing scores, clearly NU is #1 in the state.

The Counciltucky Bluejays clearly are not part of Nebraska - just waiting on the Unicameral to do the right thing and redraw the state border.

Good find

Should be a big game for Oduro with Calixte probably out. (one of their few post players)

Kier is probably going to get around 8 minutes today (per Paulsen presser) (Kier was probably their best returning player who hasn't been able to play yet due to a leg injury)

The 1998-99 year was right after Tyronn Lue left for the NBA, so it had to be Venson Hamilton followed by Cookie Belcher.

followed by Piatkowski and then Johnson.

Yeah that's interesting.  According to KenPom:

George Mason

Patriots · Fairfax, VA

Home games played at EagleBank Arena (7,860, 146th largest in D-I)
Home court advantage: 2.9 (238th in D-I)

Nebraska

Cornhuskers · Lincoln, NE

Home games played at Pinnacle Bank Arena (15,000, 29th largest in D-I)
Home court advantage: 4.0 (18th in D-I)

Also interesting...one would expect an historically awesome, high fan support program like George Mason to appear above Nebraska in this list:

http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/m_basketball_RB/2020/Attendance.pdf

But they don't seem to be anywhere in the top ten.  Crazy.

Scores so far today

So when we win tonight, we play the Aggies for the title - revenge for the 1993 team is on the way.

NU needs to have both football and basketball playin' like it's 1993. #RefuseToLose 😉
