Silverbacked1 Posted March 11, 2018 Report Posted March 11, 2018 If this is true was already looking at Wagner. Biggest guy is 6-9 250 only three over 6-6. Guard heavy and they score a bunch of points like in the 70's but look like they give up a bunch too. Got killed by Mizzo early in the year. Other wise played a lot of schools with hyphens and names of guys who were in the revolutionary war. But could be different by 8:00 as this guy has both ASU and somebody else in the NIT that is in the big dance. Bugeaters1 1 Quote

But I would hope that we get a home game, have a fuller house that is a bit rowdy, and a team that we should be able to beat with even our c game. Then they can kind of figure out if they want to keep playing hard or just mail one in. Quote

This is why the matchup is so important - if we have a 2nd round matchup against a good team , the motivation should be there Quote
jayschool Posted March 11, 2018 Author Report Posted March 11, 2018 First-round games are this week, so if the students show up, should be good. Second-round game, if at home, might not have quite the same energy if it's over Spring Break. This isn't a football scrimmage, you know. Quote
hhcmatt Posted March 11, 2018 Report Posted March 11, 2018 We had better get at least a 2 seed out of this deal Quote

throwback Posted March 12, 2018 Report Posted March 12, 2018 Sorry - when I listed the auto bids earlier, I thought all teams that tied for the regular season title received auto bids, but that wasn't the case, only the #1 seeds. Good thing, or we would not have made it at all. Unreal. Quote
Chuck Taylor Posted March 12, 2018 Report Posted March 12, 2018 Compare NU and MSU resumes: https://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/bracketology/team-comparison/NEB/MISSST We're 1-6 against sub-50 RPI, 3-3 against 50-100. MSU is 4-8 and 4-1. I suspect it would be similar if you compared KenPom. When you're judged by wins against good teams. we just don't stack up well. Quote
