Interesting. They already have the top PG in Michigan for 2018 (who dropped 30 effortlessly in the state semis yesterday). If they get mark smith too, that will be quite the guard tandem to face in the next few years. Oh, and also a PF build like a house to deal with down low. Basically an taller, little bit less athletic, 260 lb Ed Morrow

What does Sparty have to offer that we don't? Besides a program rich with success, a legendary head coach, and constant trips to the land of 64......we are exactly the same! UGH, why couldn't H to the Izzo keep his nose out of this!☹️

We also... outside of this year... have owned them on the court.

I was actually fine with the loss to PSU in DC since MSU already punked NU twice this year. Sad year. And, well, anyway, the prior 3 years were at least a domination of Sparty... 3 for 3!!

I think it's over folks. he's either going to end up at a local school or a big name school like Mich St/Kentucky.

Spaulding expresses my feelings quite accurately in this clip.

Don't give up, Tim!  Stay with him.  Give him a little line and then start reeling gently, gently ...

This would seriously be the biggest flipping recruiting coup in the history of recruiting coups.  Don't give up on this one until his LOI is signed.

i guess the only chance is if he wants to play with Nana or miles has convinced him he can put up tai's numbers from day 1.

Why we were in long before most of these teams. If we are behind just out bid them.

If that's how it worked we would already have won a ncaa tourney game by now

MSU in-home visit with Izzo.

Our chances seem to be fading quickly.  As long as he doesn't end up at Misery (they are loading up for a Kentucky type class next year) I will be okay with it.

It's Over.

From Rivals:

In the mix: Kansas State, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan State and Ohio State.

Status: Smith took an official visit to Michigan State over the weekend and the Spartans have been picking up steam. Ohio State or Kentucky may get a last visit out of the tough and talented combo guard.

Predictions: Michigan State (Bossi, McDonald, Peek), Illinois (Evans)

Good news for our friends in Omaha though. 2 of the 4 experts have Creighton getting 5 star SF Brian Bowen.
