Norm Peterson Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Does he get his own thread on the recruiting board, though? Quote
hhcmatt Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Does he get his own thread on the recruiting board, though? Eh...let's just swing it on here. A better question is "How does his shot look?" Just read on a Miami board that it looks like there is a hitch in his shot. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Yeah, this likely should land in the recruiting thread. But that said, I am not sure we are in the market for a 6'5" guard UNLESS he is a major difference maker. We have a much "bigger" need at this time. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 BTW, mediocre stats in 2 seasons at Miami. Quote

huskerbaseball13 Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Hopefully this means we have a big who can contribute right away locked up....if not, I'm not sure why we are going after a transfer guard assuming we only have two scholorships available. Quote
nustudent Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 On the surface looks to be a replacement for 2017 after Tai and White both graduate. BjoeHusker 1 Quote

FredsSlacks Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 i'd be ok with this addition. a former top 100 player that didn't get much playing time on a very good miami team. tai and white are both seniors, so we are going to need guards. Quote

It looks pretty smooth to me! Quote
khoock Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 I know this is probably splitting hairs, but is AW3 really a gaurd? I have always counted him as a wing/SF. Quote
basketballjones Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 I don't understand why you guys are so worried about what position guys are. You take good players if they want to come. We're working hard to get a big man, we'll either get one or we won't - still have to have quality skill position guys to score the basketball. Miles ahead of the rest 1 Quote

It's essential Miles lands a solid center this year for our team's future and his future as the head coach of Nebraska. If he doesn't...things will likely stay status quo with us hovering around the bottom of the league. If we land Palmer...great, but it's not going to help us any this upcoming year. If we could land someone like Palmer and a big to help next year that would be ideal. Striking out again on landing a big and carrying over a scholorship(again)..will not be a good look. It's time to get it done. Quote

Should we just sit around or should we schedule a guy in May on the outstanding odds that guys haven't made up their minds and we have nothing locked down until it's locked down. If we sign Jordy first and think we need/have a big man transfer coming, then you tell Palmer no thanks. We haven't used all of our scholarships yet; bring in 5 more top 150 guard transfers please. khoock Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 Maybe Miles has given up on the true center and is planning on getting ahead of the curve on "small ball". I personally think our roster is set up pretty good for the switch. bobcat402 and bigFRED 2 Quote

Oh no I agree...I don't have any issues with bringing Palmer in for a visit. I just don't see how we can go another year with Miles not landing a solid big man. Atleast one of the two remaining scholorships needs to go to a big man...and hopefully a big man that can help right away. Hopefully by the time Palmer even visits we have that guy locked up. Quote
