Well, I did not think we had a prayer in this game...but, I was hoping.  We played well at the beginning then again in a couple of spurts.  We missed both Ed and Shavon.  We ran out of gas.

Look at all of those shitty IU fans leaving early!

Yeah, we'd never do that.

I know we do...I also know people 'round these parts get awfully worked up about it.

We should have tried this make-free-throws offense a lot earlier.

It kind of helps when the refs look at the stats and see one team went to the line 23 times, and the other team has went 4 times.  They think to themselves, "Hey, we need to make this look good.  Start calling fouls on the other team."

Crean proving he's a dickhead, up 18 with 1:30 left and has not cleared bench.

We never cleared ours...?

We had a long time ago, given Fuller and Hammonds played a lot of minutes.  Should have Miles done so? yes but he was not up 20

Has anyone mentioned...we miss Shavon.

We better figure it out then because he's a Senior.

Gotta think/hope that Gill alone can put up that sort of offensive production

On a positive note, the 1400 KLIN radio sync with the BTN broadcast is pretty cool.  That's about all I got. :)

Oh man i missed this

I would have too, I happen to catch a Kevin Thomas tweet @KevinThomasKLIN just before the game.

I feel more sorry for our guys. Getting to say you played at assembly would have been awesome.

...oh wow, and now they call a touch foul on the outside...I just don't get it.  I really don't.

They were bad both ways. McVeigh's offensive foul was a clear defensive foul. The ticky-tack ones they are supposed to call this season went uncalled for much of the game. What they considered a jump ball (one player has two hands on it, the opposing player has a hand on said player's leg...) or a travel (Watson's hop on the baseline...sure looked like he kept his feet)

It was a weird game. Wish we could have prevented Williams from getting easy looks. But I also think we should have had more free throws.

Easy to blame the defense but 60 points is too few.

We actually only made 1 less shot, and 3 less 3's from the floor than Indiana.  Indiana made 11 more free throws than us (after they decided to start calling Indiana for some fouls), that was the difference.  Tough to overcome.  Plus, we are fairly thin, seemed to run out gas.

They outscored by 9 from the 3pt line and 11 from the free throw line. That's your game right there. More disappointed by the inability to get to the free throw line than I am out scoring them from the 3pt line. I thought we actually shot well behind the arc

Just not one of our better efforts.  We looked discombobulated the 2nd half on defense.

The effort was alright.  We just didn't have the horses.  Watson did not have one of his better games.  Need more from him without Shavon.  McVeigh needs to pretend the other team is Indiana every night.  Avg. 16.5 PPG 5.0 RPG 6-10 from 3.

Our young guys need a lot of work on the defensive end.  Watson and McVeigh got abused.  I am hoping it was fatigue.  One thing I hope Watson takes from Benny and Tai is the work on the defensive end.  From my poor memory, I think Benny and Tai guarded Yogi pretty well.  He was 2-8 from the floor.  I just saw on the highlights, that he made one basket on Glynn.  The other Benny left him to double down in the post.

this made me laugh :)

It did seem to work fairly well for Indiana when they weren't playing well early on. It appeared that the home refs reared their ugly heads; hence, the Miles' T. That was total crap. Seemed to fire up Indiana coming out the 2nd half....

But, for Nebraska, I gotta ask; How did Jacobsen and White miss their FTs like that... White, especially??? AW-III threw up two bricks on front-end of one-and-one's. Yikes.

I seriously thought Nebraska was going to finish the night 0-4. Fortunately, they ended 6-6 to get off the schneid.
