So . . . I'm calling it: Chukwu picks the Huskers as a scholarship player, and Bielfeldt picks the Huskers as a walk-on.

this hunt for a big guy is really dragging on.

hoiberg has been long gone for months. he's told several recruits he couldn't guarantee he would be back, and it's been widely known for months that thibs would basically be fired unless they won the championship.

Fred Hoiberg and Chicago management reportedly have a "gentleman's agreement" in place for him to become the next head coach of the Bulls, according to CBS Sports.

It's been speculated for March. This shouldn't be a surprise.

Since March of 2013...

Jerry Reinsdorf has a long-standing competition with James Dolan for worst NBA owner in the league.  Best of luck to Thibs.  Hopefully he sits out next season or goes to the Clippers as an assistant where his contributions to defense and strict approach are very much in need.

It's been rumored that Hoiberg to the Chi was a done deal before the Thibs announcement.  Bulls GM Gar Forman was an assistant at ISU.  Hell, Hoiberg was rumored to be leaving last year for the Golden State job.  He's gonzo.

Not much of a competition if you measure it by play-off appearances and championships...that said, you tend to win championships when you have a player named Michael.

So, either Nebraska or Indiana now, it would appear?

All the Indiana guys seem to think he is a Hooiser but who knows.. might just be "fan speak"

Ha....you can probably find 20 different starting lineups on this site with Matthew Atewe as our starting center.

I think he would probably back up Jahil Okafor in most scenarios...
