GATA
2013 PF from Notre Dame prep is getting pressed hard by Miles. He holds 12 offers from: Kansas State, Marquette, Memphis, Auburn, Dayton, Clemson, Duquesne, Nevada and UNC-Charlotte, etc No stars according to ESPN and Rivals, but that doesn't necessary mean a lot. Offers from Memphis, K-State and Marquette suggest that he's a player.

Nebrasketballer
This would be a mistake in my opinion. Just because Agau decided to go to Louisville doesn't mean that Nebraska needs to take a player that is ranked 4 stars less than him by both ESPN and rivals. I think it is a mistake to waste a scholarship on another low profile recruit, when the roster is already full of low profile guys. I think they should save the scholarship for the 2014 class and go after a player of the same caliber of Agau. They should take their chances on being able to get a higher level player, now that Miles will have a full recruiting year to build relationships with players instead of the few months that he has had to recruit to Nebraska for the 2013 class. Who cares about the stars? If he has 0 stars, that just means they haven't evaluated him yet. What I look at more closely is the schools that have offered. In this case Memphis, Marquette, K State, etc. Pretty good list in my opinion.
Nebrasketballer
ESPN and Rivals "stars" mean very little IMO. Well they obviously meant very little to Doc too. That didn't get him very far. Good players win games. And "stars only mean very little" when you are trying to justify your team getting a player that doesn't have any stars. I didn't hear anyone saying that "stars mean very little to me" when both ESPN and rivals had Agau listed as a 4Star. I'm pretty sure there were posts on here whenever Agau got bumped up to a 4Star player and when he would move up 10 spots in the ESPN Top 100. I'm pretty sure there were posts about 5Star Okafor visiting Lincoln and that it was amazing that Miles even got a 5Star to visit. I'm pretty sure that there was a thread started when ESPN rated Tai Webster a 4Star. Obviously, ESPN and rivals aren't right 100% of the time, but a team that consistently gets 4Star-5Star players will consistently be better than a team that gets 0Star-1Star-2Star players. Stars are not right 100% of the time, but they do matter.

Norm Peterson
check out the 1:19 mark on this for a couple rim rocking plays and here's one of him from his aau team The first player featured in the top video was Keifer Douse. Wonder if he's any relation to Kris Douse, our former player who transferred to Delaware. I think Kris was originally from Canada and the kids in that video appear to be as well. So was it a mistake for Harriman and Miles to recruit Tai Webster? He had zero stars when he was being recruited. I'm also in the camp that stars mean jack crap. Shang Ping had three of em and he shoulda had negative stars.

DMVHusker
Looking at the offers this would be a good get. I think this guy is just as high profile as Fuller and Hawkins are and with Webster also adding Atewe would give us one of the best classes we have had in recent years. The reason most people for recruiting services dont know much about the guy is the fact that he backed up the nations #5 recruit last year at ND prep. This alone can prohibit a lot of people knowing who he even is because his minutes get limited due to playing behind a huge star. His team also featured offensive weapons in Xavier recruit Myles Davis, and Clemson recruit Adonis Filer so he didnt have any focus going his way. All 3 have graduated and Atewe will be one of the main focuses on the team this year. TheGov21
Norm Peterson
The plural of focus is foci. Just sayin'. Kamdy speaks truth, Kemosabe. I've linked a vid from the You Tube of Atewe's team last year playing someone else's team. It's the full game and the roster of Atewe's team is quite impressive. This particular game, though, they play like sh#t and I was singularly unimpressed with the #5 recruit last year who is a freshman at Pitt right now. (The center for the other team went to Northwestern, by the way.) Atewe comes in at the 10:07 mark of the game (20 min half; 14:25 mark of the video) plays about 3 minutes and Mr. #5 recruit comes back in and promptly mishandles an entry pass and turns the ball over. If you are patient enough to watch the video until Atewe comes in, you'll see a couple of things. First of all, this kid is BUILT. He definitely passes the eyeball test. Clearly, a D1 physique. Second thing is he runs the floor very fast. Short period of time after he gets in the game in the first half and he hustled and beat everyone down to the other end of the floor in transition but they didn't get him the ball. Third thing is he's a bit raw yet. At least as of the time of this video. But he clearly has size and athleticism. Strong summer?

TheKamdyMan
I presume this is who coach Harriman was visiting on his recent east-coast recruiting trip? probably watched him and like 150 other guys with the way this man seems to recruit. I would love to see our coaches go and recruit that league, and the prestigious Hoop Hall Classic up in the northeast. The HHC, interesting it matches this websites abbrev., brings in about 16 teams where each team averages at least 5 D-1 players on it. Would be nice to start getting some players out of those schools as they tend to play a lot of talent in HS and primes them for college.
