From what I heard, Crean was upset with Nebraska players talking to Indiana's bench. Crean told Miles to control his team. Miles responded by telling Crean to worry about his own team. Crean then told Miles to "shut up."

Crean is the mother of all a-holes.  I will laugh with smug delight when he gets canned at the end of this season.

My wife thought Crean went after Tai and said something to him and that's what got Miles upset.  I was watching the Scarlets, so I didn't quite catch what the fuss was about.

Good choice.

Okay just got back from downtown was sitting at a table next to one of the players. I won't say who because I was listening to him and the others at his table. Anyhooo one of his friends asked what happened and he said that Creen said something to Ty and Ty responded with and I quote "Fuck you Tom Creen". The player said that the Huskers were ready to go and he thought that they could have taken them.

He also said that they were much better than what they showed on film. He said that they are a very good team. Much better team than last years. This is Indiana that he was talking about.

If his wife, who is Jim Harbaugh's sister, has a personality anything like her brother's, I don't see how Crean and she don't kill each other.  Would love to see Harbaugh and Crean interact at a family gathering.  Both of those dudes have that "look" of being an eyelash from Jack Nicholson in The Shining at all times.

I am certainly not a fan of players talking smack (do it with your actions, ability, skills - not your mouth)...that said, it would be pleasurable talking smack with some of these coaches.  Crean acts like Petino or Coach Cal, without having their results.  Hey, Tom, start winning big games, then you can act like a prima donna!

Just looking back at the numbers, we had scored 1 point in the prior five minutes to the exchange of ideas. That certainly couldn't have helped Miles' disposition.

Good clip.  In addition to being an A-hole, Crean is now officially an absolute liar.  He clearly tells MIles to shut up--twice--in the clip.  Yet he makes a huge production in the postgame interviews of saying he did not tell him to shut up.

Looking forward to chanting "Shut up Tom" for the rest of Crean's tenure at Indiana

That would be cool.  lol...I miss the good old "Sit down Norm!" Chant....no disrespect to our Norm. And due to having to be good sports now we also can't do the old "Three Blind Mice" chant to the officials. If memory serves they did this a number of years ago...back when Iba was coaching...and the officials T'd us for it.

Norm was so fun to hate on. Even though he mellowed after his cancer bout, he was such a classless jerk in his younger years. I remember him circling Allen Fieldhouse after he upset the Jayhawks one year flipping the bird with both hands to all of the fans. Imagine how many games a coach might be suspended for doing that now in the Big 10. I also remember him calling Nee a bush league coach when Danny moved the band next to the visitors bench at BDSC. And his players were not much better. One year our students lobbed water pistols onto the court when Steve Stipanovich was introduced after a gun had been found in his possession by campus cops. Ah, those were the days.

He had been shot just a little bit and when his story of a masked intruder wearing a cowboy hat fell apart he had to admit he shot himself in the shoulder on accident.

That's the best excuse he could come up with?  Seriously?

I didn't remember that part of the story, but I'm sure you're right about that.  In which case, he should have been kicked off the team/out of school for being such an incompetent liar.

Forget the water pistols.  The whole student section should have shown up dressed as the Lone Ranger.  Mask and cowboy hat -- what a dunce.
