TheKamdyMan Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 a freshman at the same HS as Morrow. I will assume he ends up at a MSU, Duke, Kansas type school but Nebraska offered him recently. http://247sports.com/Player/Kezo-Brown-76916 Quote

Norm Peterson Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 There's actually some video of him where he doesn't look like he's playing against 5th graders. And he still looks good. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 Sick handle! Sick more than just handle. This kid is a stellar talent. And he's 6 ft in 8th grade? That projects to what? (OK, he's in 9th grade now, but when this footage was taken, he wasn't.) Remember when we offered Gesell in 8th grade? Yeah? Gesell wasn't this good. AuroranHusker 1 Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 Yeah well he can't dunk on the break aways. Okay I can't say that with a straight face.. Looks really good for his age. Quote
Red Rum Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I'd like to see a birth certificate on this kid. I think he's much older. In fact I think he's wearing headband so high on his head much like Lebron did before he got hair plugs or Rogaine or whatever he did to get hair back. Seriously this kid is really good at the sport of basketball. Norm Peterson and Silverbacked1 2 Quote
lanigan123 Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Nebraska having success with Morrow and Watson will only help with kids like this. Great to see Coach Miles get in early. I agree with Kamdy though. Quote

HuskerPower #nato73 Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 We are in his top 5 with Kentucky and Kansas and instate Illinois and DePaul. Good list. HuskerActuary 1 Quote
AuroranHusker Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 It's good news, but consider that he won't sign for 2-1/2 years.... YIKES. Quote
hhcmatt Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 It's good news, but consider that he won't sign for 2-1/2 years.... YIKES. We're a loooooong shot to land him but it really means a lot to see Nebraska mentioned by this kid because he's someone who is known in Chicago and probably will be nationally soon enough. That's the sort of cred we need to build in order to start landing 4 star guys more regularly and sniffing 5 stars. ShortDust 1 Quote

Bingo Good to be in the mix, but I'm more interested in being in the 'final one' for high-caliber recruits. Guess I'm not patient enough.... Quote

We'll see how this goes but this might be a one and done type kid when it's all said and done. It's a major upset right now if we land this kid over a Kentucky or Kansas. We didn't even make it to a twitter graphic with Jahlil Okafor. Quote

Okafor did have nice things to say about Nebraska's facilities at the time of his unofficial visit with the Mac Irvin Fire squad. Quote
49r Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 When I saw Robin's tweet this morning that we made his final 5 I had to go back and check the timestamp to make sure it wasn't his idea of an April Fool's joke. Quote
