busticket Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Good for Serge. It will be interesting to see how he does in the Valley. Red Don 1 Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Happy for the kid. Hope it works out well for him there. He really should have transferred last year and sat out this year. Next year at Evansville, he might actually be able to contribute if he had already sat out a year. But hindsight is 20/20 and I wish the kid nothing but the best. Red Don 1 Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 The Purple Aces are now a new favorite team to cheer for, after the Huskers of course. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 I bet he graduates...Good luck Serge, I am pretty darn positive you will be successful! Quote
HB Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Wonder if Craig Smith went after Serge at all. Guessing not, but don't know. Either way, good luck Serge. Quote
jimmykc Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 I'm betting he'll be a servicable player for them before he is done. Our program seems to be developing at a pace which didn't allow enough time for the roster spot to be occupied by a practice player for a couple of more years. Quite honestly....from what I can tell after watching a few Evansville games last year they dont play defense...or they just don't play it well. Serge should do good things for them...he would have struggled in the Big 10 on defense matching up to some of the other bigs but he has some offensive game. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does. Quote
Handy Johnson Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Good luck Serge, Evansville just got more exciting with you and your jeans in town... Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 EU is the type of school he truly belonged at from the beginning. You have to take the chance sometimes but I feel he will do well there. Quote
hhcmatt Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 He's currently the 10th man in a 9 man rotation for a pretty good Evansville team Quote

doc1394 Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 He's currently the 10th man in a 9 man rotation for a pretty good Evansville team Hawkins is getting some good minutes at UT-Arlington, not a starter, but still in the rotation. Hope both him and Vucetic are happy where they are. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 He's currently the 10th man in a 9 man rotation for a pretty good Evansville team Hawkins is getting some good minutes at UT-Arlington, not a starter, but still in the rotation. Hope both him and Vucetic are happy where they are. Hawkins was in the same recruiting class as Nick Fuller and they've both had redshirts (Hawkins because of transferring.) Hawkins is averaging 3.7 ppg and 1.6 rpgs for UT-Arlington compared to Nick's 2.1 and 2.1 for us. Best of luck to Nathan, but ... He wouldn't be seeing any more time on the floor if he'd stayed here than Fuller is getting now. Tai Webster was clearly the cream of that crop. Quote
