trickey Posted May 20, 2014 Report Posted May 20, 2014 Oh no. No, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. Also, no as well as no. The Husker fan with 1 follower getting after Cornish on twitter. Leave it alone people. I truly hope this is nobody on this board. Holy crap. Â An account with this little history could just as likely have been set up by a UNLV fan (or anyone else) to act as a foil for your true desires...pretending to be a Husker follower with 1 follower is rather suspicious! hhcmatt Posted May 20, 2014 Report Posted May 20, 2014 Â how do we fill the last 2 scholarships if cornish doesn't come here? We could probably use another guard and big on our roster. We wait for more transfers to crawl out of the woodwork. Then we give them to our walkons when that doesn't work. Â Â Between Iowa St, UNLV, and everyone who lost a head coach in the last couple of months there are enough transfers still out there to start a new conference Quote

It's part of the deal now, good, bad or indifferent.  Cornish seems pretty locked in to the recruiting scene in general. Maybe this pays off down the road with Cornish recommending Nebraska to someone else from Louisiana or the AAU scene. Quote

Norm Peterson Posted May 20, 2014 Report Posted May 20, 2014 anyone bold enough to say he will shock the world and pick us? At this point, I honestly don't care. I expect him to pick UNLV and I won't be surprised or feel let down if he does. And, at this point, if he happens to pick us, I'll probably be like whatever. My enthusiasm meter for this particular prospect is about bottomed out. Agreed, Norm. I'd like to have him, and I'd be surprised if we do land him, but at this point I'm kind of meh to the whole thing. Perhaps that's just a byproduct of recruiting in general. The near misses are sapping my enthusiasm. I'm at the point where you can just wake me up when recruiting season is over. Quote
