Oh no. No, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. Also, no as well as no. The Husker fan with 1 follower getting after Cornish on twitter. Leave it alone people. I truly hope this is nobody on this board. Holy crap.

An account with this little history could just as likely have been set up by a UNLV fan (or anyone else) to act as a foil for your true desires...pretending to be a Husker follower with 1 follower is rather suspicious!

Cornish rubbed me the wrong way on twitter. I'm not upset he's not coming. Seems like a punk and has a lot of growing up to do imo

I've followed him on Twitter and curious what rubbed you the wrong way?  I didn't see anything that he posted bad about Nebraska.  Just curious what posts rubbed you the wrong way?

Posting about and retweeting about UNLV while on his visit to Nebraska showed a lack of respect to me personally.

+1, absolutely hated that. That type of behavior doesn't seem to fit in with the guys we currently have on the roster.

Not that I disagree but all kids seem to do that.  It's not just an issue that only he does.  You see that all the time as kids will re-tweet or replay to another school when they are on a different visit.  That is pretty common nowadays.  Doesn't make it right but it's the way of social media today.  Doesn't make him a bad kid.

how do we fill the last 2 scholarships if cornish doesn't come here? We could probably use another guard and big on our roster.

We wait for more transfers to crawl out of the woodwork. Then we give them to our walkons when that doesn't work.

Between Iowa St, UNLV, and everyone who lost a head coach in the last couple of months there are enough transfers still out there to start a new conference

Guys, Twitter (or other forms of social media) aren't going away. It's part of the deal now, good, bad or indifferent.

Cornish seems pretty locked in to the recruiting scene in general.

Maybe this pays off down the road with Cornish recommending Nebraska to someone else from Louisiana or the AAU scene.

Not all the retweets, just the one where he retweeted the UNLV fan saying "Your nightmare trip to Lincoln will be over soon" an hour into his visit. I should of specified.

Or in a year or two when he's the victim of a shakeup...

anyone bold enough to say he will shock the world and pick us?

At this point, I honestly don't care.  I expect him to pick UNLV and I won't be surprised or feel let down if he does.  And, at this point, if he happens to pick us, I'll probably be like whatever.  My enthusiasm meter for this particular prospect is about bottomed out.

I believe he will pick Nebraska if a giant asteroid or meteor strikes the UNLV campus prior to 3pm CST today.

Only as long as the asteroid/meteor stays away from The Strip.

Oh, c'mon.  What are the odds that a giant asteroid hits Vegas?  Much less a selective one?

(Just in case, please also spare the Palomino Club.  Haven't been there myself but I'd hate to see my friends who have get deprived of the pleasure of its continued existence.)

Agreed, Norm. I'd like to have him, and I'd be surprised if we do land him, but at this point I'm kind of meh to the whole thing.

Perhaps that's just a byproduct of recruiting in general. The near misses are sapping my enthusiasm. I'm at the point where you can just wake me up when recruiting season is over.
