WTF?  Kreklow's going to pay $40k out of pocket to play for a rebuilding team rather than on our NCAA caliber team?

Makes you wonder if he really didn't have some of the offers he claimed to have had. Or, maybe his family is loaded and didn't care about footing the bill.

His folks are the joint head coaches of the volleyball team at Missouri. So I'm guessing he gets pretty much a free ride.

I hate Creighton as much as anyone, but they're coming off a top 20 season in which they produced the national POY. We can talk about how bad we assume they're going to be next year, but that's a decent looking resume from an outsider's perspective.

who cares. Krelow is a 5 pt per game player who has been injured his whole career.

I care because Miles wanted him.  Did you post the same thing about Moses?

I question how much mutual interest there was though.  Seems like he was going to be a long shot at best from the beginning.  Not saying he wouldn't have been welcome at UNL, but at some point you've gotta prioritize your targets and it seems like for whatever reason he was pretty low on the priority list.

Good job for Creighton getting him, especially as a walk on, if you'd have asked me I would have had him an almost certainty to go to Missouri.  Funny thing too is the bluebird lovers over on that other site are crowing about how they beat us out for him, but if it were me I'd be more impressed that they beat out Mizzou...whatever floats your boat though, I guess.

But if I were to look at it from a needs basis and had to choose between Moses and Kreklow, I think we got the right one.  Moving on.  There'll be plenty more where this kid came from in the upcoming weeks.

It appears Kreklow turns down schollies and walks on at Creighton.

Could you do me a favor and stop posting this everywhere.

Kreklow was linked to Nebraska for about a month. Zero people, including you, made a separate post about it.

Not sure if you're obsessed about Nebraska not landing this guy and/or Creighton landing him but try not being an awful member of this site for once.

BTW, I'd still rather have Dwight Smith.

Wow, CU working the transfer wire well. Good get as a walk on. numbers could be very deceiving with all the injuries. there is definitely room for an experienced player on that roster next year.

That may be but I've was told Kreklow did not like his chances at getting solid minutes at NU so there was never much interest from either side.  Shields and Petteway are going to play as much as possible...I'm sure Kreklow realized this.

Omaha paper had a front page article bout kreklow bein recruited by nebraska dat dint even mention creghton. I think we all kinda know that when a rcruitin story gets wriiten somone from da program had to leak info bout the recruit. If Miles wasnt interested, the paper wpuldnt a wriiten no story.

Miles may have inquired, but from what I have heard Kreklow did not like his chances at getting PT here.

Kansas Transfer Andrew White III Hearing From Many Schools

May 21st, 2014 8:12 pm

andrew-white.jpg?w=300&h=213Transferring Kansas guard Andrew White III is wide open in his recruitment and is hearing from a ton of schools.

“I’ve been hearing the most from University of Maryland, Richmond, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Wake Forest, Miami and Florida State,” he told SNY.tv Wednesday evening.

“I’m going to get with my family soon and start figuring out how I should handle my visits, so I don’t have an exact timetable on it. At this point I’m still open to any offers.”

The 6-foot-6 White played 25 games his freshman season averaging 5.0 minutes and 2.2 points per game in 2012-13. This past season the 6-7 Richmond, Va., native appeared in 19 games and averaged 5.9 minutes and 2.3 points.
