Has anybody else noticed that whenever the University uses the word Big as in Go Big Red they use the Big 10 logo (B1G)? 

 

I understand when the University switched confereces the first year doing stuff like that.  But now we are in year three and they are still doing it.  I don't know about other people but it drives me nuts.

 

Am I making too big of a deal about it?

Well, we are in the Big Ten Conference...

 

I guess I don't see the big deal. I've noticed it but it's fine with me.

I think because the conference logo is B1G, and is used everywhere on commericals, at games, etc as a brand they are using it to coincide with our conference ties.  I dont mind it personally and totally understand the reasoning behind it.

I think it's awesome, but I wonder how long the Big Ten is going to allow it.

I guess it bothers me because I don't see any other team incorporate it into their stuff.  And I feel that's something Rutgers or a program with lesser traditonal and overall success would do.

 

Like I said, this may be something that I'm worring too much about.

Five teams in the new 14-team B1G will have red as their primary color in addition to Nebraska in Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio State, Maryland & Rutgers.

Indiana says "Go Big Red".
