Anthony Lee's twitter account shows him retweeting Gopherhole.com saying he'd be a great fit there. SOMEBODY please tweet something to the effect that he'd be a great fit for the Gophers if he wants to miss the dance again. Or he could dance with the Huskers! #Nebrasketball #Huskers

Looks like some Temple people aren't exactly sad to see him go.  That's curious.

 

 

 

I'm sure you'd read similar things on this board if Webster were to transfer.  That's the nature of message boards.

 

 

It's not like we need someone to come in and play 35 minutes a game.  We will still have Walter and Leslee next year. We just need another big body that isn't completely worthless on defense.  If it turns out he isn't great then so what, he's done after the season anyway.  Based on Temple's record this year, I'm guessing he doesn't have much talent around him like he would here.

The discussion on that Temple board was a back-and-forth with some posters complaining about his deficiencies and others defending him by saying that he's been playing out of position (the 5 instead of the 4.)

 

Well, if his natural position is the 4 and not the 5, and he apparently doesn't defend the low post very well from what Temple fans were saying, I wonder if, in spite of his appealing numbers, he might not be such a good fit here.

 

I'll leave that up to Miles and Co, but food for thought.

Considering Temple won like 9 games all season and considering we're like 1 big man away from potentially really making some noise, it seems like a match made in basketball heaven.  A guy like that would make us a contender.  Just need to add a dead-eye shooter to that mix.

Maybe he needs to get away from the big city distractions.
