Welp...are they out of the tournament yet? Do they at least get a special trip to Dayton, Ohio? Nope. Probably just get rewarded with an 8 or 9 seed for all of this atrocious play. What's the 'eye test' again? And what good is the 'eye test' if it can't see that Iowa is a terrible basketball team right now?

Even if we lose to Ohio State tomorrow, I still do not see how anyone in their right mind could seed this Iowa team above us.

I agree with this assessment but it will be interesting to see what the experts think tomorrow and where they place Iowa after tonight's terrible loss.

Nope... not sure at all.  Illinois has to win tomorrow and probably the semis -- the finals they can probably lose because by then their RPI would be around 50.  Like i said -- IF they're in.  If Minnesota wins tomorrow they're probably in before iowa.

What is perplexing to me is that Lunardi had Iowa at an 8 seed on today's bracket prior to them losing.

I follow another prediction tool called DanceCard which ranks the at-large teams and this already had Iowa below Nebraska before tonight's result. And then there's guys like Lunardi....
