Starting Lineup Video

Can anyone help me find the video that they play at The Bank before Nebraska's Starting Lineups are announced? Starts out with "Light 'Em Up" It's one of the best pregame videos I've ever seen. I saw a tweet during the OSU game that Kenny Bell was jealous of the quality of the basketball videos. Thanks in advance!

I personally, find it kind of lame. I remember the old video at the bob where the basketball would bounce throughout the state of nebraska, out in the cornfields and stuff than down through the capital and than inside the Bob than they would show video clips of the team (big shots, court storming, etc)… I loved that video, still gives me chills

A quick google search turned out to be fruitless. I'm sure its out there, I'm just lazy.

 

I agree though, it is really well done.  Better than some of the cliche' cookie cutter stuff they've done in the past. Something new, I dig it.

I was at the CU/Georgetown game (rooting for GU mind you) and the Link did run a great video of cut ups from great coaches speeches from the movies - Hoosiers, Miracle on Ice, etc. I have to say that one had the crowd tingling by the time it was over.

They need to go back to the days from 6-7 years ago when they would use Eminem's "Lose Yourself".  That song got the crowd and the players going!

Best pregame video ever was in '05-'06.  A bunch of clips of Aleks beating his chest and dunking, paired to the epic music of Carmina Burana!  Impossible to beat.

I hate the intro! It's nothing to get excited for and you can't clap to it at all and it doesn't get anyone psyched! Sure the fire thing is kind of cool, but pick a better song!! My favorite has been the bleed it out one. But partly because that's one of my favorite songs.

You guys mention the Morgan Freeman sound-alike video, huh? I agree, that video was very very very well done. And wasn't a company paid to do that video? I thought for sure we would see that again. I assumed it was going to be a staple. If I remember correctly they played it as the team was going into the locker room, before all the special pregame stuff that opening night. I don't remember all the specifics about that video, just that it was awesome. The voice over was something like, "what if...an entire state came together...". They could easily play that after the team goes in for the final time and then also do another video at the introductions like they've been doing.

Was at the KU/ISU game last night and they do it right down there. Starting lineup video gave me chills, and I can't stand the Jayhawks. It was my first time to the "Phog". In terms of overall atmosphere it is scary how much it reminded me of Husker football. We have the fans, we just need to learn how to cheer for an entire basketball game, not just spurts.

And they don't really even do anything now when the players run on the court.  Half the time, the players are out there before the crowd even realizes it.  Years ago, they would even turn off the lights and have a spotlight on the players running on the court.  They have all these new bells and whistles and they don't seem to utilize them.  How about during timeouts, play clips from movies or TV shows like Hoosiers, Cheers, Rocky, etc......
