I'm about mid way up in the 200 section, so he wouldn't be able to hear me.  Would someone in the lower bowl be kind enough to start dogging John Higgens for highlighting/frosting his hair when he's officiating our home games?  Please and thank you.  

 

Btw, on a lark, I searched and actually found a Twitter page dedicated to his hair.  Guess I'm late to the party.

Higgins was a joy compared to the old fart with the silver hair.  That guy was dreadful.  Just dreadful.

 

 

That old guy smelled in the Ok State game tonight too; smelled bad in fact.

 

Natural hair color on him, nevertheless.

Amen, I about passed out when I was yelling after he blew the call that resulted in a 3-pointer.  He made a couple of calls that were flat out horrible.

I thought the refs were horrible the other night, but I gotta give Higgins credit for not giving a technical foul to Petteway.  That could have cost us the game.  I love Petteway, but he has got to realize that he can't challenge refs like that no matter how bad the call was.

Agree 100% Pettaway was very lucky not to get a T and lucky his teammates got him away because it looked like he was ready to stay and keep arguing.

When that happened, Pettaway wasn't even talking to Higgins. He was talking/complaining to oldie with the grey hair. Then Pettaway turned and started walking/getting pulled away. Higgins came and what appeared to be yelling at Terran. Usually you see once the kid turns and walks away, the refs leave him alone. However Higgins followed him and continued to yell at him. So nothing Im surprised to see Higgins do, but something I have never seen from an official do before

Yes, and he then continued to harass the NU coaches after they pulled Terran away.

 

Dude is all about himself.  The best refs are an invisible part of the game.  The worst ones are the ones you remember.

As a season resident of section 115 about 14 rows up... Don't Worry my section and section 116 were very vocal in giving Higgins a tongue lashing.  Next time i see him I will make sure to direct our anger towards his stupid hair instead of his stupid calls.
