wrightbackatcha Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 What is the deal with people leaving early? I get a few but the 1st level was 1/2 cleared and the game was still close. Drives me crazy! hhcmatt and atskooc 1 1 Quote

hskr4life Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Yawn... Same story different day. This absolutely sucks!!!! Sad thing is I don't think this part of Nebrasketball culture will ever change!! Quote
royalfan Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Don't worry about it. If they don't like basketball as much as you do, who cares. They can do what they want, just like you can. They probably don't impact the game much anyway. jaimes2000, jdostal, tcp and 1 other 2 2 Quote

PimpMario Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Maybe they didn't enjoy watching their team crease? We almost folded at the end, luckily we only creased. I think after 15 fouls you should be in the triple bonus and get a 3 free throw attempts. I am beginning to hate the end of close basketball games, takes forever and doesn't seem fair to the team that is winning; and rarely chagnes teh outcome of the game. wrightbackatcha and HuskerActuary 2 Quote
hskr4life Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 I wonder how many of those same fans are the ones who don't like standing.... Just curious Silverbacked1 and wrightbackatcha 2 Quote

nuled2dance Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 As long as they pay at the start and spends money at the game it helps the program and city. Good business in the hay market these days. Love to see them stay but having just sat in traffic for 40 minutes getting out of a lot. Sometimes I wish I jetted early;) Quote
BDL415 Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 During a timeout around 2 minutes left i left my seat to go to the bathroom got yelled at by someone can't i go pee in peace HuskerActuary and Silverbacked1 2 Quote
Slammin1 Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Most of the "fans" that leave early while the game is still very much in doubt are probably the same ones that sit politely throughout the rest of the game. They finally feel like they need to stretch their legs a little so quietly walk out so as not to disturb the cheering faithful. Quote
hhcmatt Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 I like to look at it like less people I have to wait on to leave. jaimes2000 1 Quote

Huskerpapa Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 ...okay a bit more, it is not much ado about nothing. If they want to leave, then get the hell out of the place and don't hover in front of fans who stay. Also, go an invisible route, do not smile and walk out where the TV cameras can see the mass exit. hhcmatt, jaimes2000, Silverbacked1 and 1 other 4 Quote

HuskerPower #nato73 Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Very simple. Leaving the 100 section early you should have to exit up. Not move towards and across the floor. jdostal 1 Quote
Concrete Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Very simple. Leaving the 100 section early you should have to exit up. Not move towards and across the floor. Agreed. Complaining about the fans that leave early is pretty useless, we can't control it. PBA can control where they exit though, and players/fans that stay til the end shouldn't have to watch them stream out in front of them. jdostal 1 Quote

Norm Peterson Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 This was supposed to be fixed as soon as the team gave the fans something worth watching. So, I guess a win over a conference foe in a game that went down to the wire wasn't anything worth watching. Apparently. HuskerActuary and Silverbacked1 2 Quote
jdw Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 There were a lot of people who watcher from the railing above the 100 section not saying there are not to many people that leave early but it is not as bad as it seems wrightbackatcha 1 Quote
