49r Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 the video CWG posted has a few different shots, he nails a nice jumper. Could you imagine this line up.. Junior Tai Webster/Senior Dickerson Senior Terran Petteway Senior Shavon Shields Freshman Edward Morrow Senior Walter Pitchford throw in a Pinder, Deng, Hammond, Hawkins Parker and Fuller bench.... damn. Heh, funny how things can change but the above lineup looks like a major step down from what we'll end up having...and it was a pretty dreamy scenario just a few months ago. LOL! Quote
49r Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 An early commitment from a borderline top 100 would be so huge for this program!!! How about TWO commitments from solid top 100 guys and TWO MORE top 50 transfers? Would that also be huge? AuroranHusker, Bugeaters1 and doc1394 3 Quote
49r Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Glad we were involved early and established relationships through an assistant who didn't bolt to another contender. Back when Doc was still here, we talked about Mike Gesell being sort of a litmus test on Doc's ability to recruit. If we didn't land Gesell, it was like confirmation or proof that Doc wasn't a good recruiter. I wonder if Morrow represents a similar litmus test for Miles. He has ties to the school since both of his parents went here. He has ties to the town since I think he lived here during grade school. The table is set and I'll be extremely disappointed if we don't land this kid. Well, Norm? What's the consensus? Does Miles get a passing grade on this one? Quote
Norm Peterson Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Miles not only scored 100 on every test, but he completed all the extra credit and then some. Passing grade? I'll say. 49r, Nebrasketballer and Bugeaters1 3 Quote
lanigan123 Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 Ed is dominating again this year. Last night had 15 points 16 or 17 rebounds and 6 blocks. The tribune says 17, others 16. His nickname from his team is the Matrix. Quote

Huskerpapa Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Looks like Morrow will be on ESPN2 on Friday evening... University of Kentucky basketball signee Charles Matthews will play against a city rival in front of a national television audience Friday night. Matthews leads St. Rita (Ill.) against perennial Chicago power Simeon (Ill.) in a matchup that will be shown live at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Simeon is considered the No. 12 high school team in the country by USA Today. Matthews — a 6-foot-5 guard — was UK's first commitment for the class of 2015 and officially signed with the Wildcats last month. ESPN ranks him as the No. 44 overall prospect in the senior class. Simeon's roster includes two top-100 prospects: Illinois signee D.J. Williams and Nebraska signee Ed Morrow. TheKamdyMan Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 saw this elsewhere. Hes going up against bishop gorman and the #8 and #10 players in the country. Jeter is #4 and Zimmerman is #33 in the videos respectively to their Rivals rating above. http://www.courtsidefilms.com/news_article/show/462504-ed-morrow-dominates-cancer-research-classic- Swan88 1 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 This may be sort of an outrageous comment, but Ed would be playing major minutes for the Huskers IF he were here this year... Quote
krazzykirk Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 I truly think he would be starting instead of David Rivers. Is athleticism and rebounding determination is what is needed. I could easily see 8 points and 8 rebounds a game in his first year. Quote
