It's painful not knowing but I'll take Tummala's radio silence over hyper-analyzing Atewe's tweets any day.

 

It's just nice being in on recruits with nice offer lists instead of guys choosing us over schools like Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Sounds like he is indeed having a hard time choosing. Why else would you throw out a final list (other than to appease the masses) when you previously stated that there would be no final list only to come back that same afternoon and state that the schools he listed were only "sort of" in the running?

I really think we have a chance. I don't know why he would choose Pitt when he chose to visit Miami OH but not Pitt.

 

AZ st seems like his most likely choice, but I still think we have more to offer in terms of basketball.

I really hope we get this kid but realisticly, our chances drop the longer it takes.  I was hoping he would be blown away after his visit to NU and commit shortly afterwards but didn't happen.  I hate to lose this kid but that is what I'm expecting.  I sure hope I'm wrong.

I saw something on Twitter about Texas and Arizona trying to get in the mix now.  I wonder if Arizona would be more appealing to him than Arizona State.

I agree.  I think some bigger "name" schools might have jumped in and that is why he told the reporter that the schools he tweeted were "sort of" still in the running.  Makes me think he is now considering (and possibly leaning towards) schools that aren't on that list as well.
