Tummala's coach just deleted the tweet that had the 5 schools. What's the deal here? Is Tummala just looking for a free visit here?

If the coach deleted the tweet it would indicate to me that he might have sent it out without all the information.  Let's get him here, see what we have to offer and see what happens.

If the coach deleted the tweet it would indicate to me that he might have sent it out without all the information.  Let's get him here, see what we have to offer and see what happens.

Hopefully we blow him away with the arena and facilities, but i'm not getting my hopes up at this point.

 

I'm guessing education might be playing a factor.

Yes, so many guys are looking for a free visit to Lincoln, NE :)

What with this wonderful weather, you would think that people would be flocking to get here.

 

We might even become the new place for Spring Beakers.

Yes, so many guys are looking for a free visit to Lincoln, NE :)

The chicago bulls front office made the trip just to look at the facilities.

He has a limited number of trips he can take so if he's taking the trip, I would guess it means he has some interest.

 

Screw ASU, though.  Hope he tells them to pound sand.  They didn't offer out of HS and now he should be out to prove that he was worth it and they shouldn't have let a local boy like him get away.

 

Yeah!  Make 'em rue the day they didn't offer you a scholie, Sai!

This: http://www.thesundevils.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/040913aaa.html  May explain (at least partially) why Tummala would be interested in ASU.  With Jahii coming back, and if ASU can get some big men help, they figure to be a player in the Pac-12 race.

 

Plus, I hear Tempe isn't a horrible place to spend a few years and their girls aren't too ugly.

 

well that and he went to HS in Phoenix so its home basically.

Hope that he waits until Saturday and Sunday to visit though, because it is supposed to be 70 on Saturday and 65 on Sunday.

 

Ehh... just tell him he can practically live in the Training Complex except for going to class and playing in front of 16,000 Husker fans just chomping at the bits for a winner in basketball.  :)

No doubt.  At the rate the season ticket sales are going, he might be playing in front of 16,000 season ticket holders...

And now it's official...

@HuskerExtraBR: #Nebrasketball is actually still in the mix for Sai Tummala, who told me tonight he's visiting Lincoln this weekend. He has no final list.

Things are sounding good. After this weekend Sai can say no more visits.

Or he may visit Lincoln and never leave.

This approach worked on me when lmy ong departed high school honey convinced me too adopt this vjew!

Well we must be at or near the top... and here is why.  After the tweet that he had narrowed his list, not even an hour later the post is deleted.  He then announces on his own twitter page that he has no list and procedes to schedule a visit (first sounds like) to Nebraska over the upcomming weekend.  Or maybe I am just overplaying it.
