We waited too long to press.   I love Brice.  We are going to miss him.  That last defensive possession was not smart.  I know you are on emotion, but don't go for the steal on the inbounds

As brutal as this loss was, the Huskers got exactly what they deserved with the game they played.

season over. Onto recruiting and focusing on the portal. These guys are cooked and belong nowhere near a mention on Selection Sunday. 
 

now with FIVE LOSSES AT HOME in league with 3 to bottom 5 teams. 
 

embarassing. 
 

Fred gets one more year to fix this and that’s it.

Rigsby was 16 - 66 from 3 this season and goes 5 - 6 from 3 today.  Go figure.  Why can't our Gavin do that.

 

 

Because they don’t let you play with six players.

At least we had a year and 3/4 of NCAA dreams.  

 

If you would have told me at the beginning of the season we would have been on the bubble with 3 games left.  Sign me up.  I have to put it in perspective as disappointing as this loss is.

The gross thing is that we’re still on the bubble. That’s how gross the bubble is. We win the last two and we’re likely in.

 

we lose the last two and we likely miss the B1G tournament.

Washington has more overall talent than Nebraska. Harris is going to be a top 20 pick in this year’s draft. Osobor had his pick of where to go play this year, but Washington gave him $2mil.

My hope and I'm sure the hope of the coaching staff is Janikowski and Frager can be those players.  A redshirt year will let them get the defensive philosophy figured out.

 

Another must need is to get players who do not hang their head when things aren't going right.  I love Gary and Brice, but they aren't ones to get the team going when we are sulking.

This. Not even trying to knock them, they just aren’t natural born leaders. Mast and Allick were the guys who rallied the troops last year.
