There is a lot of "freak out" in Seattle due to ice and snow.  It has been ongoing for at least two days.  Yet, I'm in West Seattle (a few miles from the venue) and I see no issues.  Their schools in the area are closed.

We are so concerned that we are taking a ferry over to Bainbridge Island in an hour for lunch...

Point being, I'm not sure people will turn out for the game.

Be on the look out for Rich King as he works for Amazon these days and his son Christian is a redshirt freshman on scholarship

A win and you already have the two game win streak you needed in the final 10 out of the way (if you split the rest).  Need a good start.  I'll take any type of win but hopefully Nebraska builds a large lead and never lets Washington back.  We need some momentum for our next two home games (both will be tough).

Gonna be another late start for this Washington game.

Go to Dumplings of Fury for a snack in West Seattle when you get back from Bainbridge. You won't regret it.

The whole city shuts down when there's even a rumor of potential snow. It's great. Doesn't happen often though.

I hesitate to say this out loud... but this sure seems like a good matchup for Nebraska. Washington doesn't shoot it well, doesn't share the ball well and is not a good rebounding team.  Nebraska specializes in neutralizing an opposing big who is the focal point of the offense and that's what Washington has. Osobor isn't very efficient and is turnover prone. Will be an even sleepier gym than Oregon was. It's time to BYOE and take care of business.

Seeing the same thing. Osobor is a gifted passer and can find other bigs for easy baskets even out of double teams so it's a matter of limiting the damage.

I agree.

I don't think Washington has anyone that can guard Brice.

Their style of offense fits our defensive scheme.

I wonder if Rollie will let fly early in this game.  He seems to have some confidence in his shot now and it would be great if can continue to improve his shooting.

I was going to push back against but on further inspection this is currently Rollie's best shooting season of his career and it's currently at an efficiency level that mirrors Juwan Gary. (Juwan is down this season, possibly because he's been more aggressive with his shots)

Washington's arena looks like a mid-major team arena.

Oof— aesthetically it looks nice but it does look small. Now if that thing were packed, I’m sure sound would go through the roof. But empty, it wouldn’t be very intimidating.
