Go big red! Huge opportunity tomorrow. Low consequences if we lose, huge upside if we win. Not counting on Berke, but still think we can pull this off. We potentially could have the best defense they’ve played all year.

It will be a tough game, but a great opportunity.
Sparty is very similar to Nebraska in that they have a 10 man rotation and have seven guys averaging nearly 8 ppg.

 

Sparty is shooting an abysmal 25% from deep, but they shoot really good from inside the arc, so I would except Nebraska to really pack the paint and force MSU to beat us from deep.

 

If we can beat MSU tomorrow, the Huskers might be really good.

My favorite Breslin center moment was in 2014 when the students counted down the shot clock early, which worked on David Rivers, who shot an ill advised fade away three pointer.

 

He banks it in, the Huskers go on to win the game, and this game propels them towards the NCAA tournament.

This is still probably the biggest “swing” win we’ve had maybe ever. That game swung so much momentum in our favor.

This was my first time watching Nebraska play in person. Got tickets for Christmas and was just hoping we would keep it close. Was so excited after the win I went to go see us play at Michigan only to get smoked lol
