In another thread someone said Nebraska has had a huge let down this off-season following a great year. Maybe we're both right and the poster of the statements we disagree with don't know thier ass from a hole in the ground. *PLOT TWIST* Maybe only one of you or I are right...I wonder which one? Quote

It’s not that I don’t think he can, but he is undersized there against most teams. Just like I don’t think Brice can’t play point guard, but I’m glad he’s gonna get a season to focus on playing off the ball. HuscurAdam and Handy Johnson 1 1 Quote

You were telling me before we would never get good portal guys to come here as backups and now you want 5 guys at the 4/5? I would actually love it too but I will feel great if we get 1 more good one. That would make 2 transfers who don’t start at least and probably 3 as either GG or CE (maybe both) will come off the bench. That’s plenty of depth IMO Plus the juco kid might work in emergency minutes. Edited May 3, 2024 by Art Vandalay Swan88 and HuscurAdam 1 1 Quote
Po n Tse come to Nebraska Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 The more highlights I watch the more Meah impresses me. Listen to the commentators on his improvement, game effort and "measurables". I think he may be a gem. That said, Hoiberg needs to find a stretch four to offset the loss of Mast, and a dynamic scorer on the wing would be nice as well. Does anyone have any inside information on who NU may be chasing at this time (if anyone)? LincecumFan and Fullbacksympathy 2 Quote

Fullbacksympathy Posted August 30, 2024 Report Posted August 30, 2024 Love seeing Allick as a GA working w Meah. Meah looks like he's been in the weight room too. Gentle giant. Gotta get him mean on the court. Love this pickup. Vinny, Handy Johnson and LincecumFan 3 Quote

At worst, Meah can offer that for us. He is an explosive jumper for his size. Worster is an elite passer. I can see a couple pick and roll lob dunks coming every game. I like this addition a lot, assuming he is not in our starting lineup. Welp, I’m not completely embarrassed by my take a year ago. Glad I wasn’t totally buying the Meah koolaid. Worster was not in fact an “elite passer” though. Quote

To be fair to Worster, outside of Brice and Juwan, who did most of their work with the ball in their hands, Raleigh didn’t really have anybody to pass it too Quote
Huskerpapa Posted Saturday at 04:29 PM Report Posted Saturday at 04:29 PM (edited) I am rarely critical of Fred and the staff. That said, I am critical about the recruitment, and more so, use of Braxton. It is easy to pick on Meah; but we knew, or should have known what his skills were. We tried to fit a square peg into a round hole with him. His skills simply did not fit into our schemes and we never, ever adjusted. As we recruit for this coming season, we MUST solicit players who can fit culturally and schemantically. If we don't, then the staff has to adjust much better than this season. We either need to be a team that has 3 Meahs or 0 Meahs though from this season we're obviously a 0 Meah team. Quote

Blindcheck Posted Sunday at 08:17 PM Report Posted Sunday at 08:17 PM I know some are not that fond of Meah, but him missing playing time in the last month, I feel made a difference in our defense. Quote
