As long as Natalie Potts stays firmly within the fold, then whatever else they get in the portal will be 'gravy' from my perspective... gotta keep Potts at all costs.

Need more big's and length. After the NCAA tourney it would seem evident we need more length, if we want to keep up. Vey few teams in the sweet 16 don't have a couple of long 4's and 5's.  T

I wonder if we're pursuing Isnelle Natabou out of Iowa State.  Played at Iowa Western for a year, then transferred to Sacramento State (ranked 5th in NCAA in FG %, 11th in off rebounds per game, 28th total rebounds, 35th FG made, and 39th rebounds per game).  She's a junior from Czech Republic and she's 6'5".

I hope we are too. Kinda worries me when I think about how brutal this conference is going to be starting next year. Just an absolute meat grinder of a conference. We need athletes.

I personally believe we need two players in order for us to be a solid top 20 team.  K. Williams is likely out for the year.  So I would love to have a quick, annoying guard that can come in and wreck a bit of havoc on the opposing guards.  Secondly, we need to find a replacement for Stewart/Mendalson.  Petrie/Potts/Markowski/Coley are pretty solid; but securing a more intimidating post player for depth and toughness would be beneficial.

Arkansas transfer Saylor Poffenbarger expected to announce commit to Maryland. avg 10.2 ppg and 11.2 rpg.

joining these commits:

URI transfer Maye Toure 12 ppg and 7.7 rpg

Sarah Te-Biasu from VCU 16 ppg and 3.9 rpg

Rutgers Smikle 16.1 ppg and 5.1 rpg

Some B1G portal trends are beginning to show, at least for ow 4-22 24. 

 

Iowa is picking up a good one. Pretty sure that takes them to 15 on the roster. Some of the Iowa forum guys are saying McCabe may start. We'll see on that one, but who knows. They will be a new team, no Clark, but still will be formidable.

 

Maryland also has big adds, and lots of roster movement.  Retooling I guess.      . But MIch has been a big loser of players so far. But their freshman class is excellent...a couple of 5 stars

 

Wisky no adds. Have lost 5 I think.              As usual Ohio St is churning their roster. Some out, some in.

 

Michigan St adds Oregon's VanSlotten.  Huge add.                Penn St lost some good ones, will have to rebuild a bit. 

 

Indy ...not much movement so far. 

 

Nebraska...still waiting. We have room on the roster. Maybe need more NIL $$  to buy some talent :)

The women's basketball portal transfer ends May 1st.  Not much time left if we're picking up someone.

Should I be nervous ?, or are we fine as we are now.
