What was funny to me is that Jake was probably een more animated than Kent! He's supposed to be the grounded one. Jake was apoplectic last night. Worst I've ever heard him go off on refs.

Why the heck not? It's fun for the kids. It is all about the kids in the moment. Last court storming it was mostly middle-aged folks against a top-ranked PU. Again, it's all in good fun.

Oh I know, I’m not upset about it in the least. Knocking Off #1, Go For It, but we should start expecting to Beat Teams like Wisconsin. But I get it, down 19, it’s a HUGE Win.

Hey @jimmykc It's only sunshine pumping if you do it before the game/season.  When done in real time, it's speaking into the situation.  Decreeing and declaring!  Words, spoken or written, have power!  I'll be speaking into the Illinois game thread soon.

Wisconsin had been 120-0 when ahead by 16+ pts at half in the past 25 years. It's courtstormin'-worthy when they're also #6 in the nation.

Yeah, Brice was obviously fouled a couple of times with no whistle. The rebound he had when he careened to the floor, #14 hip-checked Brice to the floor. And, the final shot of regulation he was clearly smacked. Oh well, Brice balled out and helped seal this with his 6-6 FTs in crunch time as well as a clutch layup (when he was also fouled!).

 

And, honestly, the not fouling out Wisconsin's guys actually helped NU because they all stayed in the game & were not as aggressive on either offense or defense. It basically was a big reason Nebraska could be more aggressive and win it.

Nebraska's aggression seemed to throw Wisconsin off 'Gard', they had no answer. NU bludgeoned UW like they did PU. Thing of beauty. Now, they gotta translate that aggression to the road where the fans hate on ya! GBR!!
